Who remembers him Eric eggens, almost 50, yesterday still in the top10 in the 125
It surprised him too.
Post race interview with Jeff Perret is gold.
Full Replay from all of yesterday's action.
From MXVICE :
"Ivano van Erp of the DCN Vos Oss KTM team crashed during the second moto of the Dutch MX Nationals in Oss on Sunday and sustained serious injuries. After a strong second-place finish in the first moto, van Erp suffered a torn aorta near the heart, as well as a broken collarbone, shoulder blade, and sternum in the crash.
Van Erp was transported to the hospital by trauma helicopter, where he underwent surgery. Late last night we received the news that the operation went well and that Ivano is stable."
Sorry rym, I just went back and saw you'd put that up already.
Nasty injuries - life threatening. Good to see they say he's (relatively) OK.
What happene to produce such awful injuries?

…I saw Eric last year at Lommel, he is a trainer now for Dutch riders.
I didn't know he still rode?
It was even worse. A surgeon was dropped of at the track with a helicopter and placed a stent near the heart at the track because the situation was that critical... Wow!
He got 3rd in the 125 WC in 2001 for KTM!
I'm probably wrong, but I think Eric was one of the main SXF250 development riders, for a while after that.
I think He (and another rider?) raced the first ones in the GPs (2002?) while Townley and others were still on 125SXs, though Ben's winning year was on the SXF in 2004.
Where was Bervoets in the first race?
DSQ'ed, not sure why.
I've been on the Keith bandwagon for a while. Kids style on a 125 was amazing how slow he looked. Injuries though definitely hampered him.
Yeah me too, i was hoping he was gonna do a full season of EMX250 this year.
You, Jeff and the crew did a great job at Hawkstone Phil. Enjoyed every minute of it.
Thanks, there are always things that can be better , which we work on from round to round, but its a small crew, with 4 cameras and a roving cam , and we had the drone again which is excellent and i think shows how it should be used.
Over the 3 places it goes out MXGB-TV, TNL Sports (who are the crew) and FIM-Moto.TV we are over 100,000 view on You Tube , which is insane to think really, but for a free Stream it is worth every penny.
I do, I think it was 2000 or 2001, Austrian GP, I think he won qualies...i remember he was super fast through those turns...

Motul ACU British Championship will be broadcast from Preston Docks on sunday , 11.45 AM UK time
It is free on MXGB-TV on You Tube, Jeffrey Herlings is entered , last time he was here at Preston he was given a great run for his money by Conrad Mewse, hopefully he and Ben Watson will make Apico MX1 a show.
I'm not too familiar with the UK scene but isn't Keith like the biggest young talent you have at the moment? And he can't get the budget to race a full EMX250 season? I can't think of anyone that has "made it" without doing full seasons of EMX250 in that part of their careers.
Pit Row
You got any info on Jeffrey if he is traveling with plane or with car?
They day after on monday he is at Heerde for the Dutch Masters.
Could be a short night and some travelling if he is going with a car.. Same for the mechanic.
At this point, no.
My guess is he will fly to Manchester.

Harri Kullas back in Europe? Not seen that name for a while. I guess he didn't get a spot on a team for AMA Supercross? Anyone know if he'll do Pro Motocross?
Tom Vialle hit the starting line banner structure HARD at the start of Moto 2 at the Dutch Masters race on Monday and may be injured I hear...
Hoping Tom is okay for Sardegna this weekend...
