RC saying justin cooper going for the transfer when he was trying to get by 96 for second was far more baffling.

Diffy is fine, I think his accent throws a lot of people off so they complain.
I actually enjoy Ricky, I enjoy all of them. No real complaints. He’s a racer, not a pro tv commentator. We’re lucky to have him announcing in my opinion
Ricky used to have amazing insight on race craft and now he swings and misses pretty much every time.

only need 1. weege and maybe jt on floor. between 20 casters andstupid split screen andputtin so much shit on the screen no one can follow anything.
1 announcer. 1 floor guy/girl and stop talking just to fill space. thats rickys problem and i think its producers tellin him hes gotta say stuff or prompted to talk., i watched the preshow-raceday livee today for first time in long time and its same shit. they make a 30 minshow into 4hrs and force AC and JB to talk about shit that doesnt exist. i had to turn sound off and just watch the riding and live timing.
p.s. split screen is not needed with sidebar positions taking up 1/3rd of screen. we can figure out the battles

I tune in to watch racing, not hang on every word or miscue made by whoever might be commentating. Stop acting like Karen and enjoy the program.💯

Yes, he and RC are terrible. I was thinking during the race they sound like a couple of enthusiastic morons, or giggling high school girls.
Diffey never actually calls the race, he just bangs on about what so and so said. And the most annoying bit is he does it as the rider - in the first person...you know Kenny said "I'm just taking it race by race...' and so on and so forth. As for RC at one point he said the track is really technical as it 'has lots of jumps'.
I've been watching loads of old boxing matches from the 80s and 90s and the commentary is extraordinary - it's an art form in itself.
Meanwhile Dumb and Dumberer keep ruining our amazing sport. Whoever makes the decisions around the broadcast at NBC or Feld needs to take a good hard look at their themselves...
Thanks for wading in RC, but no, Stew isn't as bad as you at bumbling words...and further to that - and most importantly - he actually analyses the race...

Yeah man I also tune in for the racing. But when the people in the booth and on the floor are constantly talking nonsense or gibberish it’s distracting and taking away from the racing. RC literally said Tomac had set his bike up for gravel in the broadcast last night! What the actual fuck???
I’d be interested in an example too. He doesn’t analyse anything. He couldn’t even analyse the Shimoda crash after watching it 18 times. Stevie Wonder could see Clouts foot peg coming down on his left ankle area ffs.. Ricky just goes back to qualifying practice last week or what about having a champion like Chad Reed helping the club mx team out blah blah blah.
Sorry, I don’t have a specific example. I just have memories of him making less obvious predictions and being sometimes. Versus today where he says obvious stuff and is wrong most of the time.
Before he was full-time RC was actually entertaining in the booth. Once he went “corporate”, it was over.

I thought they actually listened to the fans for once when we had Weege and Stew calling the race a few weekends ago. It was the only broadcast where the commentary wasn't distracting.

Nothing will ever compare to art and David. Nothing. Having said that, it’s like some of you guys wait with bated breath to criticize Ricky and his commentating. Is he perfect? Absolutely not. As someone pointed out Stewart makes just as many flubs that he does and I don’t see you guys calling him out. Ridiculous. They’re trying to do their best and you guys still bitch and moan.
I am in agreement on Diffey with most of you. Fingernails on a chalkboard.
