Detroit Penalty Report

I'll not sure why to think of this. Too much nitpicking or appropriate enforcement?

It seems a little crazy to have that many sound penalties.

Violation: Balls hanging out 
Penalty:  Loss of 2 championship points (1 per ball)

AMA gonna AMA…..

But damn Hunter lost his fastest qualifying lap and still topped qualifying. Was really starting to put his stamp on this championship, until he wasn’t.

J-Bone was on Pulp Monday and I guess he's taken this role back over after Ezra left 

So they all passed pre-race and failed post race, wonder why?

If every racer fails sound then is it even a penalty anymore at that point? 😄

They haven't even lowered the limit yet that's coming next year

Let the 150cc and 300cc 2 strokes in then. Perfect timing 😁 

100% agree would make the sport 100% more entertaining and a lot cheaper for the privateers to show some skill don't know why the factories are worried they'll never beat a full blown 250 or 450

They should all show up with 140 dB bikes at St. Louis and just make sure they do two fast laps LOL

After they fail sound do the teams have to fix it or can they now just run it?

I missed the penalty on the AMA for having Nets that don't work.

I’m not sure if they’re still doing this, but in the past some teams had ways to make their bikes pass sound in the morning, I think it was with mapping. Then they would go back to their normal map after they passed sound. 

Yes they're still doing it I just had a motor package done from Twisted it has a sound map that is effective while in neutral. But you have to go under the seat and turn the dial on the vortex can't do that after the race.
