Never seen so many thrown chains in one race. Anybody from the enduro community see this as a setup issue (too tight/loose chain), design of the mx bike, or just a bunch of bad luck?

They all happened in the same place in the same rut, it wasnt just deep, it had a kink it is as well, and that most likely caused by a rock, or a hard peice of earth so the rear of the bike was getting a bit sideways jolt in the rut.   It was the track , nothing else.

Askew didn't make it through qualifying.

To go from a 3rd place race finish to not qualify is crazy.

This is why you go to MX2.  Guy who qualified one pole was 20th.

Everyone can be top 10 or bottom 10, just on starts.

Brutal class.

Its awesome to watch i must say. But  yeah, i agree

US SX post race interviews - Sexton predicted Vialle for the win as a 1/4. Pretty close 👍

Yaa Triumph should bring Farres back to the US since he’s going to age out of MX2. Bring him over on a new 2 or 3 year deal, the kids is good. I thought he had killer style when he first came here on a Star bike.

According to something I read on YouTube, someone was arrested for messing with the chains the night before the race. Any truth to this?

Sasha Coenen is a danger when he's buried in the pack.

If his riding these past 2 rounds is indicative of his riding the rest of the season then it's over for everyone else

The speed and intensity from L Coenen is something else at the moment. Looks like an 2018 version off Herlings where everything just clicks.

The “old guard” has there work cut out if they want a say in this title fight.

Although we're only 3 rounds in, this comment made me think this is similar to 2018 Cairoli vs Herlings, except Herlings is Cairoli and Coenen is Herlings

This is stuff that we used to see from peak Herlings. Man it's going to be difficult to beat Coenen this year if he stays healthy.

Febvre has looked a little off this year. Any ideas why?

I actually think he’s looked pretty good but mistakes have cost him, and it’s easy to see why with such a stacked field.

I will say that Herlings has the long game in mind, there will be days when he can win, and he will, but being second if you dont is way better than wiping out trying to find something that isnt there on the day.

Hopefully we will have him in the booth at this weekend's British Championship, and i will ask him.

Not so strange all the chains that fell off

Then how come it only happened in the same corner in the same race? If what you're saying is true then their would be chains coming off at every Grand Prix...

Some rain was exactly what this Mickey Mouse-track needed, it made it more technical and challenging. If it was dry we'd be looking at a speedway were everyone is equally fast with laptimes of 1:30.

Saturday races were great. On a dry track.

How many passes did you see in the qualifying races?

He didnt "look off" in Argentina, neither in Spain (until his big crash in the second moto)...

The slack plus a rock in the rut. Both things come into play.

If you go for a walk on the paddock you could check my thing.

For example, I tool that photo of Ben Watson bike's in Almonte.

Did you check the lapcharts of their first races? In the top 10 of EMX125 almost nothing happened, the same in EMX250. García was already in 4th after the first lap and after 5 laps everything was settled for the lead.

That looks fine.

Having done proper full movement tests on my 450, i now have it looser than i used to, what 'looks' right is too tight, and the 450 KTM i raced last week looked loose too, but was spot on.

That Acerbis unit on Watson's Triumph isnt man enough , older bikes use plates down the outside, for a reason.

He also DNF'd because of a thrown chain in Moto 1.

García is a step above. Mancinni rode great today with the Ducati.

Tiburcio confirms his speed in Almonte.

Tiburcio must be high on the priority list for the factories. 18 year old from a different continent, first year doing emx250. 3rd in points after a sandtrack and hardpack, including a mudtrack, riding for a new team.

I mean, no offense to these riders, but if you are a mx2 factory team imo its hard to look at 3rd year emx250 riders like Skovbjerg, Reichl, Fueri, Fredsoe from the top 10 and say lets pick one of them over a rookie with no experience on mxgp tracks who gets better results right away.
