Didn’t notice, I was too stunned by the style.

Honest question, is this an American thing? Pushing for the nice guy, virtue signaling family man narrative? I don't see this type of content on either F1 or MotoGP

I mean.. is being a nice family man not an admirable thing in the rest of the world? People love to see footage of Max Verstappen with his daughter Lily and Penelope, and the top post in the F1 subreddit this week was Alonso becoming a dad.. 🤷‍♂️

I’m definitely no Deegan fan, but to say that Davies is going for his 3rd win in a row is a bit silly.

It’s commendable and respectable. I don’t mind seeing it in Reddit threads. But during the main race broadcast, it feels out of place. I don’t quite understand whether they’re trying to target a specific audience or simply pandering to a particular demographic. In my view, it comes across as somewhat amateur, especially when the focus could instead be on the technical aspects of the sport or the athletes’ physical performance.

I can’t watch the pre-race stuff for F1…They’ve got like 5 Will’s on that…just a bunch of cackling hens…

Fair enough, I confess I like to see a little bit of their normal lives, but totally see where you're coming from.
