So your telling me - after the Argentinan Government has stripped its citizens of purchasing power, created hyper inflation, forced business closures, and floated the idea of a U.S. taxpayer bailout, they feel sorry for me? Javier Milei ran on the promise of fixing Argentina's issues, and proceeded to run it farther down the toilet, faster than his predecessors. Donald Trump ran on the promise of closing our southern border, reducing egregious Government spending, and reducing egg prices - and delivered. And Argentinan's are loosing sleep over me? Are you serious?

No, I am not telling you that.  My post said, “people from all over the world”.  Not people from Argentina. Argentina just happened to be where the event was.

That pic is posted as a reminder to everyone how fucked up everything was the during the last administration that was run by democrats. These are the people the democrats put in charge of important government positions. The democrats pushed a dei and trannie agenda. They championed men competing with women in sports. The democrats opened our border to everyone and told us it was ok. Letting in dangerous criminals who have wreaked havoc on hard working, tax paying Americans.  They told us biden was competent when we all knew he wasn’t. Inflation was way up and Crime was up. Voting for a democrat is voting for bringing all this back. But you already know that.

Once again your saying things that aren’t based in fact violent crime is at a 20 year low at the end of Bidens term. Inflation was lower when Biden term ended than it is today under Trump.
There was a spike in both around 2020 because of Covid. No other country was able to get inflation down and grown the economy anywhere close to what Biden did.

Have you said Thank You once.

If you're going to claim to be the teller of truths here at lest acknowledge that all Biden stats are totally skewed by the fact that his term started during covid down times and comparisons are meaningless.

So under Biden it was at a 20 year low regardless of Covid.  That are the facts!

Rand Paul: “Are you suggesting that members of Congress can physically fight each other? That this is somehow allowed under the rules?”

Mullin: “What I was simply pointing out is some of the rules that still apply to this body. For instance, dueling with two consenting adults is still there.”

Serious question, what actual rule is he referring to?

Because the only congressional rules tied to dueling were about disciplining members for it, not allowing it.

Is there even a single modern law or rule that says two people can legally duel?

Shouldn’t someone aspiring to a position like this have at least an inkling of the law instead of just parroting a myth that he’s heard somewhere?

I dont know about duel, but mutual combat law exists.  Consenting adults can legally engage in unarmed combat.

This is true.

That’s an old wive’s tale.

Go to YouTube, punch in “mutual combat in Seattle”, I tried to post it here but I wouldn’t let me. Anyway, you will see a mutual combat fight between Phoenix Jones and some dude that was mouthing off. Phoenix tried to walk but eventually they called the cops. When they  arrived they both agreed to mutual combat in front of the cops and they allowed it and police basically ref’d the fight. Really wasn’t much of a fight because Phoenix is no joke and it was over pretty quickly. Basically it was like a hockey fight where as soon as it goes to the ground they break it up.

Like I said earlier, whether officers do anything is not an indicator of whether or not it’s legal. I’ve seen people pass cops at speeds higher than the posted limit and the cops didn’t pull them over. Doesn’t mean that it’s legal to speed.

When LEOs didn’t immediately shut down the CHAZ dealio on Capitol Hill, it didn’t mean that what they were doing was legal. It just meant that they were using discretion on when and how to address the issue.

What you are looking for is "spirit of the law vs. letter of the law".
