someone that would know told me lewis has been testing the bike since chase has been out, and that he will be filling in for chase this weekend. he seemed serious when he told me this so i believe him

Sexton 2026 = Windham in 02? 

Is he gonna be back at all this year or will he remain out until outdoors?

IIRC Windham was pretty badly hurt in '02 and retired for awhile. Chase is "banged up", right?

I think the panic button's almost due for a new top end at this point 

I'm not saying he's not hurt because I have no idea (how would I since no one is saying anything)... but didn't this same kind of thing happen when he first started riding for KTM? 

He's an unbelievable rider, but there's a trend here...

4 weeks off the bike. Plays golf, just gets back on the bike yet still no word on what his injury actually is.

Seriously though I’m still going with repeated concussions.  It makes as much sense as any other theory right now and more sense than most.

Meanwhile Chiz posted his hands and ass hurt from 4 straight days of testing. Guessing Chase was healing from another concussion and Chiz/Kawi are doing as much as they can to fix the problems Chase has with the bike and he won’t be back until they feel all is good between Chase’s head and the bike. 

Agreed but why don’t they just come out and say so? There’s such a weird omertà in moto around head injuries 

Someone better check on Lewis. 

This makes the most sense...  And the secretiveness of it seems to support this as well.  We've all seen him get slammed and are amazed at how quickly he gets back up like it was nothing.  Those add up and if it's a brain rattle, eventually you don't recover as quickly.

He makes it so easy to not be a fan of him.
