Sell your 350's while they still have some value. The wreck is going down ,get out before you drown.

When the rider choses the 450. Both AS and MA have the choice of 350 or 450.

You put a 450 anything in a sx main event and I'll buy whatever you say.

Maybe the 350 should run in the lites class?

So here is my question, Is Short allowed to change bikes now that he started the season on a 350? I honestly believe that there is a huge market out there for the 350. There are a lot of amateurs like me that need a little more than a 250 but consider a 450 too much. I made my KTM250 a 320 using HT racing and its the best upgrade I have ever don to it. To throw the 350 in there with the 450s its a proven mistake.

Is 9th and 14th really that bad for its 1st SX appearance? Shorty did beat all the Yamahas expcept Stewart.

The important question is what will they do if Cedric Soubeyras shows up next week and beats both 350's on a 2 smoker? It's not likely he will beat Short but it's not an impossibility.

Right!

It kinda sounds like the 350 would be a better fit for the lites class. We have heard that the power is like a "race" 250 so it should fit in.

Wait ,I'm confusing myself. OK take a bike that stock ,has about the power of say a Pro Circuit 250f. Then you have the weight of a light ,no make that heavy 450f and then you have a bike that fits into what class again?

Yeah ,what about the 250 2 stroke. If we had to have something slower than a 450 and lighter than a 450 the YZ250 was sitting there the whole time.

There's the shootout I want to see. YZ250 s stroke against this 350.

Maybe these bikes belong in the same class together.?

Can they do that? Could they race a 450 with FI even though it's not production? Wondering.

The bad thing about Cedric riding a 250T next week is that if he doesn't do well and run up or near the front people are going to say it's 100% the bikes fault.

I think the answer is no. From what others have said EFI makes a huge difference on a sx track.

Question is.. how much better do you think Short and Alessi would have done on a 450? You really think they would have done much better? I don't.

Remember Roczen's quali time was better than both of theres anyway.

decoster commented something about not being able to evaluate the performance against the big 4.till last night, he has a beginning to start with.i still feel, the 350 is not suited for most of the sx rounds.but will be interesting to see the improvements to come.

its not the bike, but the rider. they decide what to run the 350f.
you can hand alessi a 500 and he will still get dead last in sx.

I agree. They may say they had the choice, but no way KTM would of been okay with both of them picking the 450 and leaving the 350 riderless.

When the 350 came out I asked this, especially since a 250 2-stroke is allowed to be another 8 lbs. lighter than the 350 by rule. The whole point was this rotating mass and weight, which a 250 2-stroke has even less of either than the 350 does. I would think a 250 is probably more powerful than the 350 to boot from bottom to mid.

I think any of the top 3 last night would be more competitive on a 250 smoker than they would be on the 350.

Seriously. Not one single factory KTM supported rider in any discipline is "choosing" the 450....not even WORCS racers. I don't think any "choice" exists.

Theres nothing wrong with the 350. The bike just needs a rider. Short finished where he was suppose to and Mike did better than he should of.

Put Stewart,RV or Dungey on that bitch in SX or MX and its a winner.

AC did just fine on his in the GP's.

A bike is only as good as its riders. This is a FACT!!!!!!

I think any of the 3 could win in the GPs on one, just as Cairoli did. Not in AMA Pros though. Look at the starts. Look at their heats. Short was 7th in his heat!...and Alessi 9th! That was the heat races!!! These two were holeshot "artists" on 450s.
