My ears cancel out the BJJ talk lol but I’m sure a top BJJ guy is putting in a lot of gym work like a top moto guy, maybe that’s what he’s referencing?

Nope, he grips his opponent how he grips the bike 😂

Agreed. It's really good.

It was almost perfect, I think Jason should have hired a professional narrator.  His voice can be pretty annoying to some people.  I see that complaint a lot.  And it’s not because he’s Australian either, some people just got that “nails on a chalkboard” effect and hard to listen to. Otherwise it’s great.  I was able to finish this in one watch, I never finished the others.

The Japanese are respectable people. An American family would learn a lot from visiting that culture.  Humble people from all walks of life, MMA. motocross. Japan is the best of Asia in my opinion.  They are righteous people.  Most my buddies from Japan remind me of my Hawaiian friends. Good morals

I have no desire to travel anywhere overseas, but Japan has been the top of my bucket list for a long, long time.

Was kind of off of gypsy because of how cool he seemed to think he was but the 100 hours with Jo and Cole Davies videos are changing my mind.

Great job Gypsy.

Gypsy has moved past the "yeah, bro" every five seconds days. His interviews are right up there with the best in the industry.  I like, follow and subscribe.

Question for anybody that follows the MX scene in Japan;

Is Deming still revered in Japan?  How much of the success of modern Japan is attributed to him?

I would guess Deming is mostly unknown outside of engineering or corporate management circles.   Not really a main topic of discussion at MX races.

I haven't been traveling the world as much as I'd like to, but I've been to Japan twice now and it's amazing. Everything is super efficient, clean, and the people are respectful to one another. Stark contrast to how it is here!

Food is healthy, fresh, and delicious. And right now everything is cheap as the Yen doesn't have much value to the dollar. The expensive part is getting there, but once you're there, it's really affordable. Airbnb cheap places to say and get a JR (Japan Rail) pass to get around.

I just watched a clip from the Osborne pod. He said when you're on top of a guy in BJJ it's just like riding moto 🤔

I saw that and wondered how long it would take to get brought up here. Lol. Leverage bro. Leverage. Its the same.

I actually like his pod though, I just laugh and some of those things.

Just got back from a 2 week trip to Japan a couple of days ago, and everything you said is spot-on. What stood out to me is the respect that seems to be held for service workers, as well as the respect they have for you. Employees in restaurants, at train stations, etc are all neatly dressed in classy uniforms and carry themselves with the same dignity and class as a CEO would.

Ok I’m even more on the Jo bandwagon after watching this- he’s so respectful of his family and upbringing and absolutely hilarious!

Knocked it out of the park Jase!
