Those chevy diesels are nice but according to chevys website they start at $45k for a 2wd and $48k for a 4wd. That's a completely different vehicle application and price range than these things.

Stick with the Toyota Tacoma long bed.
Not really the same vehicle at all. That Tacoma is bigger than this and gets gas mileage comparable to a F150, the Maverick gets gas mileage comparable to a Civic.

This guy does a good review of what the Maverick is, and what it is not.

Curious how it would look in there straight. Could two fit side by side?

Two bikes would clearly fit with the rear wheel on the tailgate as long as the bars were turned like you see in the picture. You might even get them both in straight with the rear wheel at the very end of the tailgate.

See? They fit. Cool

Although there's no "Spatial recognition with Falcon" thread, you guys clearly forgot about the "Moto Tetris" thread. I bet I could get a loading ramp, two stands, a cooler, gas can, toolbox, milk crate fill of lubes & rags, two gearbags, and a PW50 in there, too. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I have a maverick first year Lariat gasser,AWD, love it.  Drives great, has road noise depending on the road. Fuel mileage, summer highest avg 28.2 , winter mpg 25.4.  Easy to put my bike or motorcycle in the  back. Motor is nice and peppy.  62,0000 Miles.  Interior is plastic is easy to scratch. Back seat flips up with storage underneath.   Have a roll up tonneau cover on for some bed security.  Factory tires went 55,0000 Miles.

I have a '24 XLT awd.  It's a company vehicle, so if I had my choice I'd have something bigger.  But for what it is, it does a good job.  I'll echo e-wa's comments.  Good gas mileage, decent power, Mine has 59K still on the original tires.  The thing I like the most about it is the well-thought out details, like the under-seat storage in the back and the multitude of tie-down points in the factory-coated bed.

Ford maverick used to a car in days gone by.

Looks like the truck edition could carry a little more than the car could…..not much more though
