Mookie is one of very few riders that are just simply physically strong enough to pull that off. Wow.

I did the same thing once. came out of a sandy turn where you really laid it over, straight into some (much smaller) Whoops. Throttle hand slipped off. Missed the bar when I tried to get my hand back on. the Last whoop than just booted me over. 

Only time I had full diamond grips. I still blame the grips haha.

It looked to me at first like the grip slipped off and he tossed aside and grabbed the bare bar, but on second look it appears his hand just slipped off and the grip remained. Either way...Mookie is amazing.

Epic.  Too bad the goggle lenses hid his eyes.  I'd like to have seen how wide they got!

Maybe the foam grip doughnut? 

I stopped using them when I noticed them getting between my hand and grip itself.
