In Diffey’s case, that argument doesn’t fly, because he’s been around dirt bikes his entire life.
The whole family was part of the mx- flat track community back in Australia. He probably has more of racing background than any lead commentator supercross has ever had.
That doesn’t mean you have to like him, just that the lack of knowledge is not the problem.
With as much stuff that Leigh does commentary for he is more of a jack of all trades and a master of none.
I would rather have Weege who only does moto and is a master at his craft.
Diffey isn't a part of the sport just because he rode when he was younger. Compared to DB who knows all of these guys personally and knows the inner working of the teams same with weege Diffey doesn't know anything compared to them so I just don't see the appeal of having someone that has the same amount of knowledge of someone on a vital forum not a true insider that actually cares about the sport

2nd this. Kristen has grew up around MX, her dad is Donny "Bulldog" Banks former MTGP quad champion in the 80's, owner/part owner Capitol cycle in Macon GA and involved with Echeconnee MX. Kristen herself rides and races dirtbikes.
RC wasn't a fan because DB was actually good.
Like comparing them riding.....DB was not on the same planet as RC and now RC is in the D class at Chicken Licks raceway in the announcing world and somehow still has a job.
