I was looking forward to see how he did in a couple US SX's.
But if Alessi, Short AND KTM's top rider (Cairoli) ALL don’t do well here, it will highlight the bike as the common denominator.
Right now they can keep preaching that the 350 is doing great overseas.
It's not worth the embarrassment. They still want people in Europe to think he's the fastest rider in the world. It's about perception and money.

Pit Row
An American who don't blame an European rider? It's strange... lol (just kiddig
P.S.: KTM push him to ride? WRONG. He wanna ride, KTM didn't want to.
@Machine indeed and then I forget names like Herlings, Tixier, Tonus, Desalle and others.
PS: At the Grand Prix of Glen Helen there came a Youtube video I will search it up tomorrow and if i'm correct hey said that KTM and he wanted to compete in the AMA SX series but I can be wrong. And if you saw him riding at the Supercross in Milaan and Bercy that he better can't compete.
I just think he's thinking about what's next in his career.
He tried Genova and Bercy with AMA SX in mind.
In Genova he sucked big time.
I was in Bercy and saw he sucked big time on friday, did a little better on saturday and did good on sunday. But definitely not good enough for an AMA SX.
He has pretty good overall speed and timing but has BIG problems with the whoops, he definitely can't ride on top of them. He did good on sunday because the whoops got rounded a bit by the end of the day and he found a way to double-double-triple them and that put himself on time with the fast guys.
He and the team already had plans to go training in US, so that could have been an opportunity to do a couple sx, but he uderstood he didn't had the speed.
A thing to remember is that he was SCARED at Bercy...
Anyway, the guy is tough and the way he's behaving tells it all... he WILL race in US, not in this year SX series (although I would still say "never say never"...), maybe not this year at all, but u can bet u will see him racing over there anytime soon.
Post a reply to: Antonio Cairoli will not ride AMA SX.
