I have a real bad feeling this is going to get much worse than most here are thinking. Never a doubt, regardless of administration, that the US and our allies could quickly deliver decisive victories on the battlefield. However, the military’s job is to break shit, not nation-build. Yet our armed forces are charged with winning the hearts & minds after every regime change.
On the surface it’s appears Israel and the US were willing to exchange slowing nuclear development for a bit of chaos. Not necessarily a horrible decision, but not sure how this resolves itself w/o allied personnel in-country.
