"...“It started out bad, and the second race was still a little rough. Then it came around and was going all good, and for it to end like this is pretty bad, I think. I mean, the last four races he hasn’t been able to match my lap times or anything. I guess he had to do it one way or the other.”..."
From Vital MX's interview with both riders.
Obviously RV isn't thinking it was clean. He's been known to push riders around. I guess we'll see if this turns into bad blood in the outdoors. Man, I hope so.

I am not a huge fan of either rider. I just know there are rules, and they should be for EVERYONE not everyone but the top 5 guys.
There were 2 instances that this very same pass were made in 2002 and 2003 and both riders were fined AND dropped 1 postion in the race. Exact same scenerio. It's BS and I hope they strip that punk of his title that he doesn't deserve.
I can imagine why RV would be upset, I think anyone would be in that situation, especially this close to the event. As time goes on, I think he'll probably realize it was simply a tough deal, not anything overly malicious.
The incident between him and MA really isn't relevant here. He and MA have had a history of clashes. He had plenty of opportunity to park TC, but didn't. I think if he is presented that opportunity in the future, he won't hesitate now that a precedent has been established.
I think when Canard says that RV would have done the same thing, he's defacto admitting he hit him on purpose, but contact in and of itself isn't really a bad thing. He didn't hit him that hard, it just happened to be on a bad section of the track to have it happen. But now that he's shown he is willing to bang it up, he's probably not going to get the kid's gloves treatment anymore.....
He definitely earned this title!
How was that pass dirty at all? Watch it and then tell me it was a dirty pass.
If I'm racing for a c-ship and the guy in front of me is my competition...I'm going to do anything to pass him. Less pussies = better racing.
Not to mention Detroit where TC totally disregarded ALL the blue flags for the las 6 laps and didnt get out of anyones way. He is a total bum.
If you can not tell in that video that he left Ryan with only one option, your blind. If he really thought he was that much faster he should have made his move somewhere a little less risky than the face of a huge jump.
Pit Row
You are
A) Blind
B ) Stupid
C) Don't know shit about racing
D) All of the above
With that said, I think RV will smoke the field outdoors if he is 100% healthy.

Good on Trey for doing what he did. RV would have done the exact same thing, and for him to piss and moan about it shows what a bitch he is. Hell, Hannah would have put him over the berm, stopped, then pissed all over him before he lifted the #1 plate.
Love him or hate him, WordNerd had an excellent article in the new RacerX discussing this very thing. If you get a chance, read it.
Fuck the whiners, this year Trey was the man!
Tv shows in slow motion. You can't just back off the throttle while going up the face of a jump at 40 MPH. Whoever suggested that one is a complete bonehead.
What is your name and national number?
