While that seems to be the best possible solution, that also will guarantee a guilty verdict overturned on appeal as you'll never find an impartial jury even for innocent adjacent people. It would become so sensationalized nobody could get a fair trial. Even already you hear person xyz was mentioned 1,352 times, they have to be guilty of something.
