Gotta say…people didn’t have Hunter on their roster for championship contenders but here we are 4-2-2 and only 8 points down…also has some staggering statistics for % of finishes inside the top 5.  If he stays healthy he’s my pick for the title.

I’d love to see Eli win and he is on right now but he tends to have one or two bad starts where he can’t get things to go his way every Supercross season and I imagine it’ll happen this year at least a time or two.

Really? All I saw was people saying Hunter was a title threat and were outright picking him to win the title with Jett out. The people who didn't have him on their roster, like me, based it on his results or lack thereof in sx. He's been a beast in mx no doubt. He seems to have stepped up to the next level in sx and I'm pumped to see it. Another actual contender. That said, I dont think he was ever a real threat to Chase. I think Hunter gets his first win soo

Yeah I think I've seen more Hunter picks than anything else. 😂

Hunter was making a big push towards Chase on the last lap and Forkner derailed it. I'm not a fan boy, but I appreciate that he didn't bring it up in the interviews. He's been patient, and consistent. Very sharp cat. On and off the bike.

Maybe he should’ve just cross-jumped and taken him out like his brother did in the 250s 😎

Works for Deepshit on the 250.

Sorry. Hunter is a good person as well as a fast mofo. He'll get his wins.

Hunter is Friese with just a little more pace. He’s a notorious road block and races to keep people behind him.

I can tell you thought that brilliant line up all by yourself.

Good Job!

No two ways about it, Hunter is really good but not as fast as Eli or Chase.

But of either one of them gets hurt or has a terrible race, Hunter will be able to make the most of it. In other words, he knows consistency is his only way to win the championship.

I don’t think it kept a battle from happening. If you watch timing, the only time Hunter made up time was when Sexton was working through those same guys, then Hunter got stuck in them also and the gap remained. RC and Weege talked about it while it happened.

I disagree. Chase wasnt even triple onto the table the last 5 laps. Hunter was making time up in a couple sections Chase didn't seem to be comfy in any more.

Do I think Hunter would of won. Probably not. But it would of been a close finish.

I will say I was pretty bummed Forkner kinda put the nail in the coffin. Was I yelling at the screen. yes. But after a day or too settled I realised Forkner probably only held Hunter up for a lap because Hunter probably lost the time and than settled. So who knows how much it would of really been. Just looked bad on TV 17th place will not let the runner up pass for a lap.

That’s what I meant by he didn’t prevent a battle. Sexton was mailing it in not even hitting the fast lines which is why Hunter got closer at the end. Sexton had so much extra speed to give.

Not as fast as Eli?

Hunter  wasn't as fast as Eli at A1. San Diego was each way with the edge to Eli. But at A2, Hunter straight up passed Eli and gapped him.

What I'm really looking forward to is Outdoors.  Hunter was faster than Tomac last year, but i expect Eli to be better this year.

Let's hope they make it through SX healthy.
