so me & my girl snowed in , decided to clean the attic up some more and she found my old ps3 & ps4 games , yal kno reflex the GOAT 💪🏾👌🏾 but MUD….for wht milestone did with MUD , looking back on it now it was lokey underrated , think MUD might’ve been the 1st moto game to introduce the MXON game mode

mud was actually the worst shit i ever played
Always felt Alive was very underrated, they did a lot of things right with that game. A fair amount of bad things too but I loved that game
if it had launched with supercross tracks it would probably be on the same tier as reflex
I don't care...alive was great..

Seeing PS3 and PS4 games as 'long lost relics' hurts my soul.
I was expecting something like these
The Stewart Compound was the coolest part of that game, hands down. I usually played in first person mode, so I absolutely hated the automatic look back/taunt every time you'd pass someone, though.
Edited to add: Reflex was the shit. I loved that game.
I had all those minus the MxRider and Motocross madness games. MXSuperfly was the first game with RC on the Honda. Supercross 98 was sick, my bro would build some sick tracks for me to test my new bikes on 😁😁🤣🤣 mx unleashed brings back some memories of being at friends houses staying up til llike 2am haha
Maybe Im too old, but I was never into games
If a person wanted to get the best system setup and game these days...what would that be?
How could you leave this out!?! Luckily I knew someone that went to Canada and they grabbed a copy for me. Had to get a chip put in my PS1 to play it.
Edit: I still have that and MCM 1 and 2. wish I could play them.
Depends on what you’re after, really. You could get a relatively cheap PC and get Reflex through Steam and race online or play it as normal. You could get a gaming console and get any of the recent moto games. You could get a nice gaming PC and play all the old and recent moto games and even dive into the “simulator” games that are only available on PC.
Anyone remember this one? The physics were wild!
PC and then MX Bikes and Motocross the Game which comes out somewhere this year probably. Though now with prices for RAM and GPUs getting really expensive you have to dive deeper in your purse than usual and it's not getting better.
While console is cheaper, you'll only have access to limited and mediocre MX arcade games, MTG will eventually also release for console but that will take a while.
Right now at least nothing compares to MX Bikes on PC. It's hard, but absolutely worth it to get into, you also got unlimited mod content basically.
MX unleashed is still the GOAT to me when it comes to arcade games. Physics, bike sounds, playlist, track scaling. For a game that released in 2004 it was sooo ahead of its time. Still remember playing it with friends on split screen. Good times!
Blows my mind there wasn't a remastered version yet.
MCM 2 rider/bike movement was a bit “notchy” but, man you could ride the replica or well scaled tracks properly. Steel City table section was one of my all time favourites… Acid Puke bike was wild.😂
Edit: The sound of the bikes was pretty bloody good too!
Nearly midnight but I had to find this before signing off. https://www.vitalmx.com/forums/Game-Room,39/All-MX-Games-list,1287959
Me and my sister would have wars on this game on split screen, the graphics were terrible but you could really cut the other players momentum!
This is the one I meant with the track builds!!!!!!! This was me was the sickest
Pit Row
Damn, I just got a PS3 so I could play some of my old games!
I agree, the 125s on there sounded great, even better when you loaded a Yamaha of Troy or PC KX 125 skin, the beginning of making the game more realistic. Handling was amazing for the time when you compare it to Moto Racer, although that was fun with the pocket bike mode mini tangerine Ktms. Great times.
at 1st I hated it 😂😂 but when some of my boiis got it , it was more fun to play with ur buddies than by urself , racing online doing mxon was the only thing we did
Yep, believe me ... I'm a total noob when it comes to mx vid games. Hoping my PC should be ok though it was built a few years ago ...it has a 3060 graphics card / Ryzen AM5 7600x cpu and 32 GB of DDR5 . If I want to try out MX bikes on Steam, is it best to buy a controller rather than trying to deal with a keyboard? If a controller is best...any advice on a controller?
The game that made my parents decide to ditch my N64 for a PlayStation. I remember some tracks were so dark in areas you had to guess where to turn. But man I spent a lot of time playing that game
I’ve put a lot of time into Reflex, Alive, MXBikes, COD and many others, but I don’t think I ever put more time into playing a game than I did with Supercross Circuit. I loved having to replace tires, rebuilding engines and servicing suspension. I know it was unnecessary, but I really enjoyed that feature an how it affected the bikes performance
Yes buy a controller. Also your PC will be fine. I can run MXBikes on an old laptop with an I3 and integrated graphics
Couldn’t you adjust suspension and engines too? I remember my brother and I going stiffer and more bottom for SX and softer and more top end for outdoors 😂😂🤣🤣🤣 brings back good memories that’s for sure.
I wasn’t a gamer, but we waited what felt like a year for this game to come out… but the tournaments we had when it finally came out were EPIC.
We used to have backwards races while it screamed “Wong Way!” at you. One touch of the walls & it booted you back to the start
Anyone remember this game from mid 90's
“NAC NAAAC!” “THAT’S GOTTA HURT!”😃
There was track degradation too! There were ruts on VMX but built in. So good.
