Impressive ride from Levi. From going down in the first corner to 4th place. Dude was flying.
Hopefully he can have a little better luck moving forward. Will be great racing to see him in the mix up front early in the race.
He caught mosiman & macadoo right at the end. One more lap he would have been on the box. Very solid. 100% NOT doing himself any favors by blowing the first turns.
Hopefully that gets handled for a2, would love to see him in the mix(top 5) after the start. Qualifiers have shown he has the speed. Races have shown he can cut through the pack. He’s got it. Just need a decent start, not a horrible one. Hah
I can't believe that he's only 9 points short of 1st in points. He has the speed but other than that it hasn't been a good season at all. He has come from the back in all races so far, including heat races. 4th in his heat last weekend.
So Levi has basically 2 last to 5th & 4th finishes.
Can he mentally deal with Deegs if they battle upfront from the start? We will wait and see! They must be close in speed I presume.
Exactly what I'm excited to see.

Levi was fastest qualifier and fastest lap of the main at A1.
In San Diego main, Deegan had the fastest single lap of any rider, 53.297 to Levi's 53.984
Kitchen is just Forkner 2.0
Levi has looked mentally weak at times, and inconsistent, but really only in the outdoors IMO. He's really damn good at SX.
He’s so much faster than Deegs that he starts every race laying on the ground in the first turn to give him a chance. 🤦🏻♂️
When I read this comment I thought, “Only mentally weak and inconsistent outdoors? This guy has to be a fanboy from the PNW.”
This was confirmed when I clicked on the profile pic. Kitchen is as fast as anyone, but where he’ll finish on any given night is a total crapshoot.
Levi is not faster then Deegan and he is not as smart of racer either, he will be lucky to finish 3rd in this championship.
They are pretty equal in speed actually. While Deegan had the fastest lap early in the race, Levi had consistently faster laps in the 2nd half of the race. They are also pretty even in qualifying speed. Levi obviously fumbling three starts in a row, which is no excuse and he can only blame himself.. But in case they start about even next time, I wouldn't bet on any of those two getting away from the other one.
Someone linked this site in another thread and I think it's amazing for comparing speed and lap charts:

I don’t think Forkner ever had an underage girlfriend tho
At this point I just feel sorry for Mitch. His riders have been liabilities for the past few years.
I think Levi (and Max) just need to settle in behind Deegan and wait for a mistake. We've all seen that Deegan can't race forward when there's someone on him so they just need to have a little patience.
Hard to feel sorry for Mitch when he holds onto the same guys over time. McAdoo and Forkner are 2 guys that will never win a championship. Kitchen and Hammaker are his 2 best riders at the moment.
