Failed to make the main

Unfortunately for Marchbanks he’s the first guy this year to earn that distinction, but there will be more.

Multiple factory guys in both LCQ’s, 450s are especially stacked. Gonna be interesting this year.

This is the same guy that some thought was going to be finishing around 10th.

He was nowhere close to making the main, until others start falling by the wieghside, he will continue to miss out.

Barcia and Malcolm out, he would've made the main had they not lined up for the heats. He'll be fine

He looked ok, Barely missed it in the heat and ate shit in the whoops in the LCQ.

Hate to see a guy that is absolutely expected to make every main, fail to make a main.

Unfortunately SX is a game of attrition and making the main will get easier each week (not to say that it’s easy).
It’s only round one and we just lost three guys out of the top half of the field.

I don't recall you saying Hunter wouldn’t make mains without attrition when he missed A1 in 2024.

Why would I, I'm a one eyed Hunter supporter.

Hunter made the top 5 most of that year, Garret probably wont break the top 10 all year.

Quite the expectation for a factory kawi 450... 🤣

Seems like last year when both riders just gave up...

Nichols had a good finish considering he was 3rd in the LCQ. JCoop also rode well in the main after struggling most of the day. If he doesnt crash in the whoops.. i feel like a 9-12 was still there for him. Shit happens, he'll bounce back.

Yep,   and hearing the champs like RC and JS say that 'killing' the free practice is ok, because the track is easy for professionals....  is just shitty....

Who cares, why all the noise about this guy?  He's about as boring for this great sport as Justine Cooper is.....

I never saw that narrative…. Maybe I didn’t watch that particular podcast, but I watch a lot.

Really?

Him and Cooper are both absolute maniacs on a bike, especially outdoors.

Also, Marchbanks is the only guy from Utah to ever get remotely close to the top level of the sport.

They both have a shitload of fans.

Slight correction to your third line; Pierce Brown is also from Utah. Other than that, spot on.
