Not pulpmx show, but the 2011 season race review podcasts are all time. Every single one is gold with weege and ping, back before everyone started fighting. JT was still racing and wasn't scared of saying anything wrong (I respect where he is today but it's a shame, he made the pulp show was it was until about 2016.) The 2011 season was fantastic racing too. Both classes, indoors and out.

I haven’t missed a pulp show in about 8 years, many of these have been mentioned before, but I’ll put them in 1 place..

Any show with GL in studio - he gets pretty loose in them and is hillarious.. shlong shot!

Chicken and Denny Stephenson - probably my all time favourite, the stories are insane

Lazergate - a must listen

Jim Holley in studio - I don’t think they’d get a blowjob before the main event.

DV in studio, all of them - Great Radio Bros!

Keefers Vietnam vic story - whole episode was great, but I was crying while driving listening to that story

Rv & Jake and coke when they get hammered and weimer can barely speak is all time

I agree with the comment about JT.  He is so timid now and dances around saying how he feels playing the political card for some reason.  I think his supporters would appreciate transparency, but it is now annoying hearing him waffle or just not answer the question.

I agree, always enjoyed JT’s commentary but realize it’s a delicate balance with multiple jobs within the industry. There’s been plenty of times in my career that my opinion greatly differed from my employer but id never call them out publicly. I find this to be true with a lot of the “insiders” in the industry. Frustrating but understandable in a sense. That’s one of the things that makes DV great, no filter.

Agreed.  I am not sure I have ever laughed that much during a podcast.  The Vet Worlds review and the pickaxe and no rulebook was damn good too.

I've debating asking this because I don't even know how to ask.

But in a show 2-3 years ago or at least that's my best guess. Darkside called in, I believe either keefer, jt, or weedge was in studio. And Steve just kept saying "our buddy darkside" and other variations of that and they were all crying laughing. I have tried going through darkside episodes and haven't been able to find it. He may not of even called in and I can't remember what the context was.

If someone remembers that show, I would love to know if it was actually that funny.

I would like to go back and find the last time Cooksey cohosted with Steve and see if I can figure out if there was tension between them or if it happened off air at a track or something and also to try to see if Cooksey was a douchenozzle then or if he hid it well.

The problem is I would have to listen to Cooksey.

Sounds like you're hoping for a certain type of tension between yourself and Cooksy.

Some other more recent favorites of mine:

- A Mart, J Mart, and Phil in-studio

- Denny in-studio after his stabbing

- Most every episode where Weege, Blair, or Big Lew are in-studio because they're all very witty and can bust balls with the best of them

Did your boyfriend come up with that joke?

Not saying he didn't but I honestly do not ever remember Cooksey co-hosting the show unless it was with Watson in the first 100 shows.

Are you talking about the one when darkside quit a gncc?

I have a pretty good memory but there is always a chance that I'm a complete idiot and am remembering wrong.

Edit: He did 4 Wrap up shows and did an episode of the Steve Matthes Show where he interviewed Steve.

Not sure, I can't remember the context. Assuming they were busting balls but that's every time.
