Joey is hard on himself and has high expectations, Craig trashes members of his team as soon as he's not on the team. See his interview with Matthes after Canadian WSX

There is nothing wrong with telling the truth about Star. I liked the interview.

If you are one thing it is relentless…..maybe just maybe they are trying to confirm what happened (if anything)this whole expectation for instant news is why you have idiots like Kooksey, DB lover and many of the other you tube morons that report rumor like its fact. You think that ML, RacerX and Pulp should just throw their credibility out the window so they can be the first inaccurate report…SMH…

agreed. it happens in every reputable sport: "We're hearing reports that Dan Marino has injured his throwing hand and is awaiting prognosis from the medical staff...

agreed. it happens in every reputable sport: "We're hearing reports that Dan Marino has injured his throwing hand and is awaiting prognosis from the medical staff! - ESPN"

It's not TMZ-esque shit. It's simply reporters reporting on what they hear from reputable sources. If it turns out they were way wrong, they find new sources, but 99% of the time they know the info is true because they're so . Very few sports will shield news depending on what the teams themselves want reported.

Let's anticipate the reporting time line shall we?

Jo broke his neck on a Tuesday,  had surgery on Wednesday,  Thursday was Thanksgiving and Honda released pr on Jo the next day.

Sooooo, if true....Jett breaks ankle on Friday, now it's the weekend...they schedule operation for Monday,  Honda releases pr on Tuesday the 23rd.

Maybe we will even get a quote from Mars Windstorm saying how bummed he is.

I vividly remember the day on MotoTalk when RC went down with his knee in November 03. Social media back then would have been insane

That's an ugly injury.  Non-weight bearing for 8 weeks with complete recovery 6-9 months.  Most likely a wasted year for him.

FUCK. I'm so done with this sport. Every single year we'll hype it up and we are losing the best riders. I'm not gonna watch next year. Wait.. I can't miss A1 actually. And I probably have to watch the other 16 SX races aswell.. Can't miss outdoors either, for sure watching the SMX finals. Well.. See you guys at A1!

Seriously, what a bummer man. Two years in a row we don't have the best rider in SX. Heal up champ.

Tell me a better/different way to report on this industry?  No stupid, "Just tell us" responses.  They gotta have access and that comes with restrictions.  You don't have to like it but that's just how it is.

The bottom line for a savvy fan is to know that whoever lines up on the gate is who matters.  Injuries have always been a big player in cships.   When the ground reaches up and grabs ya...it don't care how badass you are.  You get lucky or you don't.

Man that sucks. No matter how talented someone Is, you just can't account for these freak accidents and injuries. Is that 2 out of 3 indoor seasons derailed through injury for the kid now?

Really hope he recovers fully and doesn't rush back. Don't want another all-timer career to be hampered by constant injuries like we had with Herlings

Yep, think it was the year after he dominated the mxgp championship and it was constantly causing issues and delays to his return

Hate to hear this. If you are going to break bones in your foot/ankle the ones he broke are about worst case.

I don't believe in asterisks.   Injury is or risk of injury is an ever present part of the sport for every participant.  The risk is equal for them all...they know it and do it anyway.  That cancels all asterisks.
