Rumor has it that Drew from Lincoln Trail and Demetrius's from Wildcat Creek are joining forces to get Motoland back up and running. Looks like I’m going to have to learn to ride a proper sand track! Check out @therealmotoland on Instagram.
My buddy JUST called me earlier and told me the news ‼️ I’m very excited. only 40 mins away from me.
And that track is a NATIONAL level track for sure. It’s awesome and well developed.
Hoping to get more than just the 4 practice days they have been doing the past 3 years.
Sick! Was wondering what happened to them. Be cool to rotate another track into the mix besides ltmx and fmx. I agree, hopefully they have a regular weekly schedule.
Also back for 2026 is Kahoka, Missouri, another great track from the past.
What happened with the track/Wildcat owner? He took it over, and the track went downhill.

What I heard was that he just lived too far away (2 hours) and had too much going on to really do much with it. That’s why he went into a partnership with someone who has the time to run it.
I've been to motoland..it's was cool...I think I seen Trey canard racing there...
My home track... good to see them racing again
I found Motoland and planned to go, then they closed up shop. I'm glad I'll be able to make the trek from Illinois.
Excuse me, whattt??? I might have to turn the clickers up on the handguard bike and go rip those wood chips
2026 events at Kahoka
APRIL 4 & 5 central vintage series championship round one
MAY 23/24/25 IOWA MOTO
JUNE 28 IERA Hare Scramble
SEPTEMBER 5/6/7 MOSTATEMX
I went to a Gary Bailey MX school at Kahoka in 2005. Bailey said it was one of the best tracks he'd ever ridden.
Glad to see Mike reopening, at least for selected events.
Getting back Kahoka and Motoland with a new track at Keithsburg all in one year is hitting the Midwest motocross lottery.
Just wait til you boys see the Mo State series calendar.
Motocross in the middle is unbeatable.
Motoland is such a great facility. Great place to ride sand. So much ride time on a practice day....
Looks like they just released their schedule. It’s awesome , open about 7-8 times every month. This is great
Still only open probably once or twice a month, which sucks as Wildcat is 10 minutes from my house, and the days that they are open is race weekend🤣
Would you mind posting any of that? Links screenshots phone numbers whatever - I have no social media and Facebook is so restricted as a non user.
Yea I got you. Here’s a link to their website bro you should come out.

The old motoland...
Dude I’m so excited about the weekdays. Weekends are really hard for me but I can get there on a Thursday no problem. Heck yeah😭
Best track i wver rode.
Bump - anyone been out there yet? Ride reports?
Only one of the two big bike tracks is currently open, but absolutely nothing has changed compared to when it closed. Great ran facility and awesome sand track to have back. Drew is doing an awesome job and so far seems like it’ll be open an absolute ton. I’m going to say it’ll probably be my most ridden track this year.
Even though you’d never believe it, but living in Chicagoland for moto is the absolute best. There’s something like 6-7 tracks within 2ish hours
Stoked you replied. If I was going to travel up there and do some weekday riding, do you have any other good spots? Leisure time is on the list for sure but I’d rather go elsewhere since I know it won’t be prepped whatsoever on a Thursday or something. The closer to Motoland the better!
Was just there on Thursday, track prep is nice. Only 1 track is open. But it’s good enough for me, nice chill practice. Open class so you can go out whenever you want. Unfortunately I had a bad crash there last week on a landing and I busted my shoulder 🤦♂️ I’m out of comission for the next couple weeks.
But dude hit me up next time you go! Would be cool to meet up.
Where you staying at? If your close to Michigan I suggest Martin MX. should be about 1.5 hours from Motoland.
Leisure Time for sure open during the week, Martin looks like they do weekday practices at times, if you split the difference between motoland and Sunset Ridge sunset also does Wednesday rides at times as well. Joliet MX does Thursday’s each week, but if you’re looking for loamy/sand then Joliet wouldn’t be the place to go. If you’re doing like a long weekend Red Bud is close to motoland I’m not sure when their first open ride weekend is
I'll have to make the 2-hr drive down to rip some sand.
Here is RedBuds 2026 schedule. We live about 30 minutes from the track and do most all the events. I agree with you guys that Midwest moto is really great. Living on the Michigan/Indiana line there is Red Bud, LTMX, Motoland, Wildcat, Martin, Sunset Ridge, Wabash, Joliet, Muddy Waters, Mt Carrol, Lincoln Trail, Martin, Baja, and even some Ohio tracks within a few hours. Plus the amount of private tracks is wild.
2026 EVENT SCHEDULE
Motoland April 16, ride somewhere else (Martin, Sunset, etc) April 18 and Red Bud April 19 would be the ultimate Midwest short moto vacation. Usually perfect riding temperatures in the Midwest end of April too, just gotta cross your fingers for no rain
I’m lucky enough to be 10 minutes from Joliet so I’m basically 2 hours away from everything else besides Lincoln Trail, Keithsburg, and Chandlerville which are less than 3 hours
