We have about 45 staff at our businesses, almost all female (just 2 guys currently) aged between 17-25. 

Over the years we have had hundreds of employees, back in 2019-2020 almost all were hardcore leftists who hated Trump. We don't bring politics into the workplace, but we heard enough "chatter" to know where they stood (and posted on social media).

Now, the mindset has completely changed. Most of the staff was openly cheering when Trump won, several have Trump stickers on their cars. I no longer hear any "leftist" talk amongst any of the staff. 

So at least in our experience, many of the younger generation has definitely switched to a conservative mindset.  And the ones that are more liberal tend to keep that to themselves more than in the past, it is not "cool" anymore to be a hardcore liberal. Even the young kids recognize the craziness of the past four years.

I feel for the OP it’s rough out here. Imagine trying to explain that you’re a fiscally conservative libertarian who hates the government and believes both sides are equally useless and morally corrupt, aren’t religious but don’t agree with abortion, and believe in having strong family values and morals.  It’s incomprehensible to anyone that’s entrenched on one side or the other because it doesn’t fit neatly into a narrative they been spoon fed since birth.  I don’t really care if someone agrees with me on everything or not, in fact I think that’s probably pretty unreasonable to expect, but they absolutely expect that from you much is why most of them are single in their late 20s/early 30s.

And being a musician, my friends definitely slant liberal. I just avoid politics generally and keep my mouth shut when people go on Trump rants.
