Heard through the grape vine . Suzuki canceled all their ads in Transworld and are urging others to follow over the gay rider deal with a picture of Dungy in it.

Any truth to that ?

I read that magazine and thought the mechanic questionaire was quite funny and entertaining.


Basically, they asked the mechanics who they thought the gay motocross racer was, and the most popular answer was Dungey. They quoted a mechanic poking fun at some blonde highlights he showed up to A1 with.

The funny things is that most of the answers were Suzuki riders.

So...who is the gay Suzuki motocross racer?

I saw that in the new TWMX. I thought it was funny. Maybe Dungey didn't though. They put the "glamor light" filter on his picture and made fun of his frosted hair or something.

I think # 2 was TP and #3 was Tyler Evans in that list.

Don't know, but there is a Honda rider that I think was closer to the "gay rider" than Dungey. Dungey, I don't see it.

I thought the pic was funny, but I'm not Ryan Dungey. This gay rider search is pretty cheesy.

TW definitely pushes the edge on that issue. Like Swap referring to Lawrence and Hill as "homos" in their interview.

It was settled a long time ago that Ringer was the gay Suzuki rider.Personally when I'm watching a pro really hammer a bike around the track I'm not thinking about his sexuality.

I personally thought the Dungey crack was hilarious, because come on, he IS kind of pretty. Grinning But I don't think of "gay" as an insult like a lot of people. I can see how he or the people associated with him might be bothered by it, especially since they're kind of Jesus-freak-y, though.

Statistically, I'd bet money on at least one or two pro racers being gay. It's not like who you're fucking has any bearing on your athletic ability.
