Ann Wilson ---  undisputed greatest of all time --unmatched power, range ,pitch and audience connection 

Pat Benatar --  operatic with great range and power 

Amy Lee--- all round great voice 

Susanna Hoffs --- sexiest and best looking 

*** CURRENTLY  ***  I'm digging  The Warning --- The  3  Villarreal sisters from Mexico that share the vocals.   The drummer Pau is pretty damn good. If you ever tried to sing while pounding the drums ,you'll have great appreciation .  Most powerful rock trio since Rush in my opinion 

I just have to put this up - it's a song that makes I, and my GF of many years, smile - well laugh our guts out, at a certain line! :

Liz is not the 'sort' that fits in here, not being 'metal' etc, but, she's still around, and still as incredibly talented as ever. Looking for this clip this morning, reminded me that she's got at least one of the 2 memoirs of hers out, and I have to get it. 

She exits on a nice , Red, RD400 too!

This is at the top of my list….Grace Potter is an outstanding example of a Rocker Chick here!

Never heard of her before. Great voice and the band is fantastic.

Anyone else remember Lee Aaron? I really liked her album Metal Queen back when I was a teenager. When I was about 20 she played a small venue in my hometown. I wish I had some memory of it but me and a few buddies split a 66 ounce bottle of whiskey before the show. Apparently, it was a great show. 

 

I remember. She's still out there, still rock and tolling and still quite a looker, age considered!

Funny thing: my wife and had a classic rock radio station on while driving a few days ago. For some reason, Alanna Myles came to mind and I mentioned her to my wife, and we were talking about Love Is, Black Velvet, and Lover of Mine and how much we loved those songs. I was reminiscing about how I’d have “Love Is” playing in my Mustang GT 35 years ago. Within a few minutes guess which song started playing on the radio: Love Is. Hadn’t heard it in years. Great song!

Terri,s an animal on the drums. In hs everyone said they were brother & sister. Lol Frank Zappa helped get this band together.  Speaking of Frank his daughters song Valley girl was kinda funny.

F211 (First to Eleven) a really good cover band with a great girl lead singer. The older stuff with the first lead guitar player was really good, with the new lead guitar its not too bad.

HAIM and First Aid Kit are some examples of current chick bands that are good and worth hearing.
