I posted, I just want my cartoons back in another thread. It got me thinking.
What were your favorite cartoons as a kid?
Here’s a few of mine.

I haven't seen it in quite a while, but I always found 'Almost Naked Animals' bloody hilarious.
When my Grand Nephews would come around , we'd put it on, and madly sing the intro song together, to then watch whatever episode was to follow.
Howie is just so bloody delightfully stupid, his Sister, and her sidekick Batty, evil ratbags, and, The Duck - well, he's a Savant of epic proportions! The rest of the Hotel Banana Cabana residents and staff, are a crack up.
And, well a fair few other Cartoons are great. On my start into getting my Teaching Degree(s) at the age of 47, near on 2 decades ago, working in Child Care, I watched a lot of Children's Entertainment.
I find so many 'Kids' cartoons, have so much within them for an adult to chuckle at. After all, they are made by Adults.
Can’t forget Woody.

As a little kid I loved Scooby, so much that I carried around a Scooby stuff animal. My older brother and his friends picked on me and called me Scoobs or Scooby. That is still my name to them. When my son was little, he heard that, and now him and his friends still call me that.
Looney Toons of course but I was also really into Speed Racer .
Calvin & Hobbs
I have the entire collection.
The rolodex in my brain was sure spinning trying to remember a few of those. Thanks for the help. Underdog was one of my favorites. Fat Albert, a quote from one of the Cosby Kids, "whatba weba gonnaba doba todayba, Fatba Albabertba?". A lifelong friend and I will ask each other that on ride days, hilarious.
Not a cartoon, but The Three Stooges was fantastic!
BMR179 : Not a cartoon, but The Three Stooges was fantastic!
There was a Three Stooges Cartoon series.
I've just discovered 'The Tiny Chef' videos on YouTube, through looking after a neighbours 2 little kids, every now and then.. I'm glad they have subtitles to them, as i can barely understand the Tiny Chef with my crap hearing - the little kids, have no problem with what he / she / it says though.
Speed racer and pink panther but they were hard to come by on broadcast TV.
Penelope Pitstop ! hubba-hubba
Best thread in months
Maybe I'm too young for you guys but Recess and Little Bear were bangers.
Scooby Doo and everything Looney Tunes was awesome to grow up with. All of it still holds up today.
Do cartoon movies count?
Pit Row
A Sheep in the Deep(never knew it was called that).
Muttly had the original Weege laugh https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uSTOHa4Im4
Road Runner and Speed Racer
When I was a kid, we had a store called Newberry's in my local mall that had a little booth (like a photo booth) where we could watch Woody Woodpecker cartoons for 25¢. We'd pack kids in there like it was a clown car and just keep feeding in quarters until our moms were done shopping.
A few greats I haven't seen mentioned yet; Super Chicken, Tom Slick & George of the Jungle. And for anyone who grew up in LA/San Diego in the late 70s & early 80s, Family Film Festival hosted by Tom Hatten on KTLA showed Popeye and Little Rascals every Sunday morning.
Dude, I remember Newberry’s. California BNR lol.. They rotated, Heckle and, Jeckel with Mighty Mouse, Woody and, a couple of other cartoons. That booth was my babysitter while my grandmother was walking the store.
Transformers was awesome as well.

Any of you 60 sumthen’s watch Gigantor?
Old Looney Tunes and Duck Man.
Well, Yeah! 😄
I say, I say, we can forget Foghorn Leghorn. Can ya hear me boy ? 😂.
Hey speaking of which do any of guys remember Dennis Rosenberg? He was a D 37 desert guy turned over the gang then otmx mx’er. We used to call him foghorn leghorn, he was big, strong, loud and funny as shit. Concrete contractor in SC. When I thought of foghorn leg horn, I thought of him. Here’s a picture of him giving our friend some pre race tips at Carlsbad “Stay off the brakes on the downhill” !! RIP DCR.
