Recently acquired a 2002 Team Ecc Rm125, plan is to get it as close to what the team was running back in 02 and restore it at the same time. The bike came with a bit of parts from when the team had it in 02, so it’s a solid base. Has stampings on the cylinder and suspension, has clamps, excel wheels, wire tie everywhere, dsp carbon, etc.. If anyone has any leads on anyone that would know some info on the team bikes I’d love to find out more on this bike !

Nice!
This is awesome!
Very cool, loved these bikes!
Few more pictures after digging in a little bit.

Interested to see more of what they have going on inside the air boot!
I think Lamson and Ping rode for the team
Not sure if Lamson rode for them in 02, i can only find him on a 03 bike. Chris Wheeler, Dennis Ewings are a couple guys I can find that rode in 02.
Michael Brandes and Mike Craig rode the 250 for them in 02 I believe too
nice find, 02 was a good year and always thought ECC had some cool bikes, they certainly were the most vibrant
Who was doing the engines for ECC?
A guy in my hometown named Tom Chandler worked for them as a mechanic back in the day he owns a shop called TCMX he might know some things about them
I have a team jersey at home, I'll have to look for it.
Huge help thank you!
You’re welcome it’s TCMX in Baker City Oregon the guy worked for Kawasaki of Canada and ECC. Still have the signed poster of the team. Mike Craig, Mike Bradnes and Turbo Reif and I think a forth but can’t remember off the top of my head. Got it at Washougal
Some updates on this bike, thanks to tannermoto414 for the huge lead on Tom. I spoke to Tom who was Josh Woods mechanic for Ecc back in 02. I found a bunch of helpful and exciting info on this bike I have and it actually turned out to be Josh Woods 02 supercross bike that Tom himself worked on ! The goal is to make this bike just as it was back in 02 as close as I can now that I have a direction with it and some huge help. First off the list is period correct A kit forks, second is a new frame since the one that came with the bike is actually cracked in a few places and I didn’t want to risk it cracking again if I tried fixing it. I am welding up tabs for the skid plate and water pump guard on the new frame and then it’s off to get powder coated.

Finally making some progress, frame is back from powder and the bike can start being pieced together !

Oh, that's going to look good. Those '02 ECC Suzukis were the best-looking bikes on the planet.
This bike is wrapped up for the most part minus some odds and ends. I decided not to bore these clamps out for the A kit quite yet so the kit forks that came with the bike went back on. I have the correct Fmf Rev pipe and titanium silencer the team ran as well but it needs some major work. After that is done the Bills exhaust on the bike will be swapped out. All in all I’m pretty happy with how it turned out !

Pit Row
Love it, well done! Get those clamps bored and the forks fitted
Soon man they are just asking to get on the bike ! I need to find a shock first haha 🥴
This looks amazing! Who remade the graphics and seat cover? Or are they originals?
Awesome build! I had a 03 RM 125 that was a previous F&S race bike so I’ve always had a soft spot for these Suzuki one two fives
