The copy below was translated from French.........

The French, however, was one of the most prominent drivers earlier this year. Gradually, the demand has become scarce. The loss of his title outdoor 250F, his shoulder injury and his extraordinary financial demands have certainly hastened the desertion of interesting proposals. American Honda wanted to earlier in the year yet. Larry Brooks was also in the running. "Had he accepted good proposals six months ago " said David Vuillemin. " It would have a good handle today. He played the greedy and ends up with nothing. It's his fault. "Kawasaki has made an offer but not important enough for his taste. Suddenly, Mike Fisher, team manager turned to Jake Weimer, less demanding financially. "The image of Christopher is radiant in the U.S."Said an anonymous industry cross." In the end, when it comes to selling motorcycles or energy drinks, Jake Weimer is better accepted by the American public that by giving Pourcel image to fuck everything with a "Glossary attitude" that the public not amused. The economy is pretty devastated like that. The builders did not need to put other obstacles in. 'Under the same canopy that Ryan Villopoto & Jake Weimer, instead of a sudden becomes narrow and the fallback is extremely limited. The French would it take a year off to come back stronger in 2012? The rumors suggest.

If he couldnt get what he wanted this year, i highly doubt he will get it after being away 12 months, he would have to prove himself again like he did after his big injury i would have thought.

It's a bit weird cause here is what could be read on a site that sponsors him a few days ago (October, 20th)...

"Yes, however surprising it can appear, Christophe Pourcel signed nothing still for 2011!!!
Christophe is at present in France. He returned at the end of September and had surgery for the shoulder at the beginning of October. He is now in the C.E.R.S. of Capbreton.
We are in touch with CP, and he indicated us that within hours, even in the daytimes which come, he should sign his new contract...
We are going to be capable thus probably of announcing you very soon his team for 2011...

Stay tuned...

Why is he asking for so much money, and why is He worth more than other championship contenders?

After almost being paralyzed he maybe doesn't want to risk everything for less.

The money he's asking for is, in this day and age, simply not realistic. He's at least double his value, plus his bonus requirements are through the roof.

C'mon Christophe, your shelf life is very short.

Sort of a shame...
If no one has forked out the cash he wants by now...it is not gonna happen for him.
I highly doubt it will happen in 2012 either.

Who knows though, maybe we will see him back in the GP's giving AC a run for his money this coming year.

Some say the've seen him walk on the water... He could have made a lot of money two thousand years ago with this trick, but someone please tell him people are educated and not that gullible anymore...

they are not "reporting", it's an editorial on "what could happen" based on the fact that he hasn't signed yet.

Well you would Think someone around him would tell him that isnt going to happen. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that He isnt going to Get paid twice the amount a 450 champ would after winning both 450 titles quite comfortably. How is He going to Get back to the sport in 2012 without signing for basically a bonus program And a lot to prove. This doesnt make sense!

"The loss of his title outdoor 250F".. It wasn't his title. It's everyone who lines up on the gates title. Only the one that's crowned champion at the end of the year can say it's his title.

Now that would be interesting, taking up the old rivalry, who knows he might of had enough if America, after all some never feel comfortable and he's earned quite a few $$'s after horrific injuries and now ended this season in pain,no one can doubt how good he is but I guess it would be a shame to not see how he stacks up in the 450 class,I seriously doubt he'd overcome Cairoli over the season in the GPs though or even DeSalle for that matter. l

Remember, there is still a few spots open, he just needs to lower his asking price.

What a damn shame.......I hope he doesn't screw himself to badly and actually does sit out next year. I'm not sure what everyone elses paychecks look like next year , but I would think they are "down" compared to a couple years ago.....with the way the economy is and all.

Really hope he doesn't sit out......I really dig watching him ride.

Shenzi, the article was written by a Moto Verte editor, S. Legrand, and in the subject headline I said "May"..... not sure of the point you are making.

Then he should just take his ball and go home. If he was smart he would sign a one year deal for whatever he can get, get good results, and use that to negotiate out a more lucrative multi-year deal next year.
