A savvy computer user can do lot's of things on a computer, and it doesn't matter what trouble one goes to to secure a different IP, you can still ultimately detect the source. I'd imagine it's just not worth it to the moderators to do that; they don't have the time or patience to go to that much trouble. I don't blame them, I wouldn't either.

However, most of these alter-egos are simply jokes, not meant to be taken seriously, and I have no reason to hide. It's pretty black and white, I was banned and obviously the moderators don't want me here. Despite what dirty whatever his name is, says, I am not trying to be an internet tough guy and "rage against the machine" (most of my previous comments, now edited by me, were once again, hyperbole and sarcastic). While I don't really understand why J. Sloan was banned (other than for the offense of being really, really sarcastic...maybe too much so) given ALL the other crap I see here, it is what it is.
J. Sloan had some of the most classic posts ever.

I know this isn't a LB thread but I don't get while some people talk so much crap about him. I've known Larry since we all started racing at indian dunes. Our parents used to hang out together and my brother raced with Larry. Anyway he is one of the most hardcore guys in this industry and when people say crap about him and they don't even know him it just doesn't make sense. I know everyone is entitled to a opinion but just try to have a little respect.

fader.. Do you know myself or my dad? My dad was park manager at Indian Dunes. He built all the tracks there and dealt w/all the BS--Gary Lamb I was just the kid flying around the park on Peewees then 60's and then 80's 8 hrs a day at least 6 days a week. lol : Danny Lamb

Like you said.. The name rings a bell but I can't place it. I'm not sure if you or your brother go on Facebook but if you do we have a great Indian Dunes Group on there. Anyone and everyone that used to ride,race or just hang out at Indian Dunes is there at one time or another.

Most service providers use DCHP.....Dynamic Host Control Protocol. IP addresses aren't like SSNs. Most of the time you just have to unplug your router or modem for some time and your provide will give you a new IP address. Just an FYI.
