Or maybe you lack patience.

Patience has nothing to do with throwing your team under the bus in public, while rolling around getting passed by privateers on non-factory bikes of the same brand and finishing 19th.

So Gibson having to go to LCQ?  The experts made him sound so fast, would be a mean gut punch if he didn't make the motos.

LOL! Amateur system is broken because a 16yr old racing his 1st national struggled during qualifying so let's judge the whole system based on that one persons struggle......fyi the other amateur guy from the "broken" system qualified 15th....

Anyone notice Prado shaking his head after the finish line on RDL? Dude is still not happy.

I never said he was the sole evidence, just making an observation from current personal experience and seeing top prospects unfortunately fail to live up to the hype. Not dissing the kid just the current system of "training".

He’s an emotional racer. If the set-up isn’t just right, he can’t just push through. Kawasaki has to be frustrated that they can’t get him comfortable. He might need to get on a different bike to gain his confidence back.

I wouldn’t be happy either if the guy I was hired to beat qualified 2+ seconds a lap faster than me.  He better get used to it (along with the rest of the field).

While the focus has been on Prado looking for a way possible way out, I would think Kawi is increasingly open to the idea of him going elsewhere. Yes they want to make it work and win, but this is looking increasingly unlikely. He is NOT helping to sell bikes or improve the brand image.
I am more than willing to give him time to make it work, but the way he deflects any responsibility for the results is a big red flag. See how today’s motos go.

Clearly he has water in his ear. He's just trying to get it out.

Isn’t it widely acknowledged that’s lack of transparency within our sport is a problem.

Don’t ever watch F1 if you don’t like being told the truth.

He lead laps, had matching lap times to Jett in qualifying, won a heat race in sx.

Why do you only focus on the negatives?

I’m going to assume crash or pulled off, but Gibson is now in 36th. I know he is only 16, but a lot of people like Blair who know a lot about the upcoming amateurs made statements that held Gibson in high regard. Definitely not going to well today. I’m interested to hear what happened.

I noticed this in person at SLC…he’s a Big Boy…especially on a 250.🤣

Stoked to see him crush it today.

On the other hand…

When the wheels come off at Unadilla…they REALLY come off.

That place can be brutal.

Blair has been pretty bad at any of the ktm group signings he made, the only good one was Julien Beaumer and that was him seeing someone already up front on a 250 they grabbed at the last second. Half of the kids he said were the next big thing have been total flops and the few good ones are by luck from the shotgun effect of calling out talent

You mean the kid that was already coming here on his own and then Daniel failed to get him a contract when he won SMX and totally fumbled the deal when it was too late and everyone else wanted him? That’s not a signing that’s a failure of an attempt.

Blair promotes his guys, it's that simple. He's loyal to them. He's marketing them as much as anything. He is not the guy that's going to give you honest unbiased opinion on guys he has vested interest in. It's fine, but you have to take what he says about his guys for what it is.

Yoder didn't qualify either. He's really struggled outdoors.
