Surprised to hear so many peoples' disdain for Perris. Considering all the extra traffic they've been getting with the other tracks closing, I think they've been doing a great job. Funny how people complain about $50 to ride but roll up in a $100k Diesel truck.

yeppp i agree. I don't mind paying $50 at all but the last 2x i've gone it was pretty horrible. One time i pulled in & looked at the track & left & went to ride nuevo sand pit instead. The next time i met up with some buddies & everybody was complaining about the poor track conditions. It is definitely a bummer as i've been to perris plenty of times where the track is SICK. Not sure what's going on but it is not even really on my radar to go to right now.....

Any updates?

No new news from the guys running it and I have been by there every day for the last month and they have not done anything on the tracks in the last 3 weeks. My guess is that it won't open until at least September at this point.

I’ll take it as they are being smart and not going to try and open through summer.

Honestly I’m not even sure. My buddy sent me a pin but when I got there a few guys were there which was cool.

Do you have insta or fb? Add me NickNeys492 & I can send it to you. Probably wouldn’t recommend riding there in the summer unless it rains but I’ll be heading there in the fall for sure.

MxNick, no google Earth needed. I know exactly where Nuevo is; I live less than 10 miles from there! I just want to know where the sand pit is! Hahaa.

@NicNak I just sent you a friend request on FB.

Elsinore is having a kids practice only on 8-16-2025 followed by free hot dogs as mentioned on the flyer posted by Maverick above.

Bryan Wallace and Dream Trax will be there so anyone interested can go and see the kids track AND the main, and grill them for info. It is $5.00 each for spectaors.

If you plan on going, I suggest you complete the waiver in the link below which is good for 1 year and includes when you ride, so do it once and you are done with waivers there for 1 year. Click anywhere in the link except for where it says "lake elsinore raceway". Clicking on that text will take you to their home page which has a little info as well.

$30 I like where this is starting. At that price they will get my money 4-6 times a month (x3 riders) and Perris will get 0

Got an email from them last week and they said they are likely going to charge $65.00 a rider and they said the next track should be open "soon".

@NicNak I just sent you a friend request on FB.

If you guys are talking about the track you would see JMart riding years back it’s up by the water tank near the curve on Ramona expressway. It’s on the backside of the middle school up there.

This is a big fail there was hardly more than three or four Riders on the main track when it was 40 bucks nobody's going to pay $65 for that dirt! They'll be closed after the first year! Which is a huge bummer we need another track here in SoCal! I'll spend the money and 5 hours on the road to drive to Cal City before I spend $65 on elsinore's s*** dirt which is too bad cuz I actually like the Intermediate vet track the dirt was better over there!

I’ll pay $65 for dirt that close to my house. I’m used to bad dirt since most of my riding has been single track and fire roads the last few year.

They better have a cocktail bar, swimming pool and bike wash bays for 65.

I’d gladly pay $60 anywhere if the property has decent amenities and is prepped perfectly EVERY time. Equipment, water, insurance, and fuel are expensive in CA.

I just hate paying more money for the same poorly prepped tracks with unkept porta-potties and no shade.

I know everyone complains about the dirt there and pretty much always has. The dirt has never deterred me from going there and never really will, but $65 absolutely will.... That's rough man... I want to see Elsinore succeed and be around for a long time, but this isn't going to help.

I spoke with one of the security guards at Elsinore today and she knew about someone reopening the track, and said they hope to have it open around August, so this confirms what the mayor said, so it's sounding a little more that it will really happen.

I also put in another Public Records Request and will post anything useful they send me.

Great call by lake Elsinore.  I was just about to get my 3 year old nephew a bike but they closed the track.   I now see the track reopened.  This is great news!

Holy shit!  $65 to ride on a track is insane!

I recently got back into motocross from my nephews.  I haven’t ridden on a track in almost 20 years. lol.  We go out to the desert in Ocotillo wells it’s free.  Shit I thought $30 was a lot of money to ride a track!  and the tracks are only fun for about 2 hours.

In the early 2000’s the spectators didnt have to pay to watch, and I think it was only $10 or $15 bucks per rider.  But yeah the track was always crowded

I’ll give them $65 atleast once, once they open the other tracks and winter shows up.

I agree about the dirt.  It never bothered me.  The dirt was “my” normal because we grew up riding the foothills of Murrieta, Menifee, Temecula, etc. It wasn’t until years later I rode a “prepped” track and then I realized how hard Elsinore dirt was.  I liked the hard packed dirt because I knew the track would stay the same.  The only place I had ridden before Lake Elsinore was in Oklahoma but I was too young to feel the difference.
