DV you have always been a class act. Welcome back to the states and welcome back to the US industry. Can't wait to see your ugly mug in the pits again.
Thanks for many things like.
Always trying to keep humor in the middle of all the drama, passing RC on the inside for the win, winning the US Open and giving the one fist pump, Falling off the back at Anaheim during your seat wheelie in opening ceremonies, Giving me thumbs up after going over the bars in practice at Phoenix , Slapping Ronron, Keeping your cool when KW... well we won't get into that. Goon riding all the time when I was on the track at GH. And many other little things you always do that have made this sport just a little bit better.
Hope you have success in your new job bro. Peace,

Everybody went running to him, and I cut the track and rode over to where his wife and his mechanic (Craig?) were standing, and said, " hey, David just crashed really hard on the down hill! " and they were like, "Eh", like it was not a big deal.
Maybe they were used to him crashing a lot??
Also that day he was blowing everyone's mind by jumping a giant uphill double that nobody had even thought of before. Great rider.
This guy speaks some foreign language, like Canadian or something.
To see DV at his best, look for any Bercy he entered. Best personal memory of him, in 2000 i think, first final of the friday, the Mac grabs the holeshot, Dv passes him right away in the tunnel and throws a clicker lookin at the crowd on the triple while reentering the stadium, like 5 meters away from me. It just blew my mind.
Last time i saw him there, he was far from the level he had, was adjusting to the kawi etc but was still givin it all. He had to pass Brayton on the last lap for some qualifyin spot, and just pinned the whoops faster than anybody during the week end and blast past him. Was awesome, the last charge of the legend in his garden.
