Yes I would like to know also.
Because I picked him in fantasy.
Just read in another thread that he had a medic visit due to heat after moto 1. Bummer! They all looked completely worked after moto 2.
Should be good for nations 🤣🤷🏼♂️

Was wondering the same. Didn't get to properly watch the races but was skimming through the replays. Saw he was running 10-11 for a fair chunk of moto 1 but then disappeared.
Hope he's ok and gets some recovery, probably a bit too much for his body to handle in the last week with just finishing the Australian championship and then straight on the plane and some jetlag then back racing again
It’s not hot like that down under?
He lives in Victoria which is southern Australia. Middle of winter and average of 12c every day for the past 2 months. No problem with his fitness but with only 3 days to acclimatise it was a big ask.
It looked like he had a crash in moto 1, dropped from 11th to outside the top 20. Connolly also didn’t ride great. Hopefully they are the dog pound during the week so they can get over the jet lag and adjust to the heat.
Got it 👍🏼 I saw him running 10th and thought nice, the Aussie champ is running top 10. I dog Yarrive Honda squads.
Yeh he was a solid 10th until 5 mins to go.
Yeah looked like he crashed after working his way up to 10th and holding that position for quite awhile, so I assumed he was hurt? Let’s hope not.
Aussie moto s are 5 mins shorter.
So you can say he got 10th that first moto lol
Didn’t crash. Heat stroke in the last 5 mins. IV drip after so sat Moto 2 out. He is okay.
Good to hear it wasn’t an injury, although that’ll take some recovery time and he has a busy few months ahead.
When I saw him in 10th I thought damn, Australia is going to smoke us in mxon, lol. Pretty impressive. Glad he is ok.
How is Australia going to smoke the USA with a 10th from Webster?
You think he’s going to get on a 250 and beat Deegan at the same track when Deegan was faster than him yesterday while he was on a 450?
Pit Row
Webster doesn’t need to beat Deegan. To win nations all 3 riders need good results that’s all.
This is why he is here now, so he can be ready for MXoN, Nothing to prove , other than his speed.
That still doesn't explain how Australia will smoke USA in the MXoN. Teams are only as good as their weakest link.
Last year he was the second best 250 rider in moto 1, that’s all it takes.
Anything can happen at MXdN but right now I’d venture to say Tomac is probably your weak link.
Yes, with a bit of luck. This year, the MX2 class will be loaded, and I don't see Webster getting up that high again. I would say USA has a stroonger overall team, but as you mentioned, anything can happen (and usually does at the MXoN).
Exactly — teams are only as good as their weakest link. That’s why Webster doesn’t need to beat Deegan for Australia to win because he is good enough to once again, give us that pivotal result. Glad we’re on the same page. And to set the record straight - I have never said Australia will smoke anyone. Add in Netherlands, France etc etc it's not a given that Australia nor USA will win either.
With Eli being a god in 1, but having 1 slower moto, and chase dropping it in one moto, but smoking the other, doesn't matter as much if deegs is 1st 2fiddy in both motos and Webster is 2-3rd
There are too many variables here. It could very well come down to Webster needing to beat Deegan. For example if Jett or Hunter had a DNF and had to use that as a throw away score. I hope that doesn't happen, but you get the point. Another example would be if Eli or Chase beat Hunter (not sure if Hunter is racing MXGP or Open), it could very easily put Australia in a must win situation in the MX2 class.
I agree no winner is a given though. Especially at the MXoN.
If guys like Deegan, Kay de Wolf, Coenen, Shimoda, Längenfelder, and Adamo are racing MX2, they'll likely beat Webster all else even. At least I don't see him beating those guys. Kyle had a few things go his way to get second (Coenen crashing out and Anstie), adn I'm not convinced it will be repeated.
Jo is Japan's MXGP rider. He's hauled ass the 2 times I've seen him ride a 450 here, so I'm really stoked to see what he can do against the big dogs. I think he might turn some heads.
Hunter Beats Tomac
Jett Beats Sexton
Deegan Beats Webster.... Aussies are not stressed.
I got Jo as the 2026 250 outdoor champ. I think he'll turn heads on a 450 with his smooth style.
