You literally have a misspelling in your username 😂
Bias?
Go do the math.
How many Blue States have gerry'd their districts to shut Republicans out?
Now, that's what's definitively "biased".
Hence, Don't Follow The Narrative
Well said @Joey Bridges.
I think a big contrast from your historical use summary above is that what we're seeing now isn't related to state and local politics. The call was made from Trump's office in order to gain more control within the Fed. AKA removing more checks and balances that we've historically had, or at least tried to have.
EDIT - Grammar.
It’s an abbreviation. Much like your mental capacity😂

In the last 25 years republicans have gained more seats from gerrymandering than democrats.
Oh Joey, thanks for the shoutout. You are correct, you don't have to answer to anyone but you also aren't fooling anyone.
We can all see that you ain't even man enough to admit you were wrong about something so simple soooo..... why should the opinion of someone that is that mentally weak even matter?
Like FourEver?
Are you a high school chick from the 90’s?
Not surprising you came up with an alternative that’s longer than the actual word that is abbreviated. Hence, soggy on the brain. F’ing idiot, for short. 😂
Hope that helps. 4Reals! 🤣
Dude, you’re in Texas, what do you think about it?
Remember, let’s keep civil now.
Really? This is where you go to...with this...in your head?
Moving the company to Nevada for better operational conditions (taxes, financial, labor-law, real estate...etc., etc. etc. and a BETTER LIFE FOR MY EMPLOYEES AND THEIR FAMILIES) and to get out from under California's thumb...and let's get this straight...all of this is due to California's Blue State Political Shit Show...
But, still in your mind...
That's the same as State Assembly Members RUNNING AWAY TO THE MOST GERRYMANDERED STATES IN THE UNION TO AVOID THEIR...
DUTY?!
I'm being nice here...but...dude, that's just fucking stupid.
Do Texas a favor. Move back to the PNW where your logic fits their failed political narrative.
You Can Not Make This Shit Up

I'm jus' sayin'...
Why don't you all take a break from bickering and chill out to the mellow Texas-style tune I created for the 'Fesh

Apparently beto's PAC is under investigation for the funding of the exodus, room and board.
Wonder if he used trivago ???
Ironically, their actions are actually a good way to uphold their duties to the people in the state of Texas, from a blatant federal overreach. The Texas Governor was very resistant to this, until he got a call from Trump's office and then suddenly made it happen... Something that Texans are probably a bit more sensitive to as of late...As the Fed has overturned some multi-decade bipartisan bills in the lovely state of Texas. They are standing up for Texans, against an aggressive Fed.
This rebalancing move has nothing to do with what is best for Texas or its people, it is a Federal control grab.
Consistency is helpful. Trump wants to leave some things up to the states, but then flexes Fed control on others. Make it make sense.
It's this information you have more or less reliable than when you told us Jerome Powell had resigned?
“Federal Overreach”?
Where’s the Federal Government’s direct involvement in this? This is happening because of Texas law…state law…
Did you mean to say,”Presidential” or “Executive” overreach as implied…?
And then there’s the simple fact that all of the implied is based on hearsay.
But. I digress.
There ain’t NOTHING righteous about these Runaway Ass Holes. Nothing.
According to multiple reports, President Donald Trump called Texas Governor Greg Abbott to discuss redistricting. The Texas Tribune reported on July 22, 2025, that Abbott agreed to include redistricting on his special session agenda after a phone call with Trump, during which they discussed the matter. This call was part of Trump's push to redraw Texas’ congressional maps to secure additional Republican seats for the 2026 midterm elections. Two sources familiar with the discussions, one of whom spoke with both Abbott’s office and White House officials, confirmed the call took place. Additionally, posts on X and various news outlets, including CNN and The Guardian, have referenced this call, indicating that Trump’s influence prompted Abbott to pursue mid-decade redistricting.

It's too late, the last Decennial Census was 2020...

Pit Row
Yeah but The Donfather won Texas, biggest win, the most biggest ever, therefore he deserves this.
You Can't Make This Shit Up.
God Bless (help) America.
We are starting to see the light! Catching up with all the other objective free thinkers in here. I kid I kid, we're all a bunch of Gomers...
EDIT - screw facts, we like selective hearsay.
Think of California like an example of the US as a whole. It's a massively successful economy, but the folks in the middle largely foot the bill, the wildly successful corporations and top dogs don't contribute their fair share. The poors, and homeless people we all support - think of them like most of the red states in the middle/south of the USA. Leeches if you will.
Running from your problems doesn't often solve them long term.
Alright that is fucking funny 😂
Where's the full vid? Is he coming down off a railing butt slide into that landing?
This is nice but it's from Princeton...woke Yankees, therefore it's trash.
Plus it's biased...see? They gave themselves a green score in the Garden State.
I grew up in NJ around a bunch of farms and worked on one from a young age. Right next to Donny's golf course in Bedminster. Awesome place to grow up actually. I'd be on a terrorist list these days with the shit we made and blew up. If it didn't have winter I'd live there still.
Us Yanks are pretty damn American...I'm going to replace 'Thanks Obama' with 'Thanks Zuckerberg'. He really ruined everything. As he galivants around the globe on his goddamn superyacht.
Some red states are sort of forced to become "leeches."
My state (SD), recieves money to support access to and maintain millions of acres of federal land. Federal parks, grasslands, BLM land, waterfowl production areas, agriculture set-asides, department of defense land (including a rather large airbase), and Native American reservations (5 million acres alone).
Is it your contention that less than 1 million people (SD population) should come up with the money to support all that? Should SD be responsible to fulfill the financial obligations to the Native tribes as well?
"Leeches"
Negative, I think it is fair (and right) to receive federal support. We all can and do benefit from this. It's a sense of collective/community. If CA and other states hoarded all our money (like corporations and the controlling elite) we'd be in trouble. If these types of states didn't provide support to others we'd be in even bigger trouble.
We are the United States of America...not all individual states that should fend for ourselves. This was more the point I was trying to make, my apologies if 'leeches' was triggering!
We aren't all paying our fair share.
EDIT - Ironically I think the actual leeches are the corrupt politicians padding their own pockets, and the corporations that lobby and rake it in (off the backs of hard-working folks like you and I), and avoid paying appropriate taxes. It was really eye opening to me once I opened my own corporate entity, the individual gets raped over the coals and corporations can get away with contributing very little. Trickle down economics doesn't work.
Someone else posted this on here and I thought it was a very informative infographic.. Individuals pay the price. Our system is very poorly balanced, and is structured to let corporations and the elite get away with contributing VERY little.
Sorry for derailing this thread a bit. But the point of the rebalance in Texas isn't for the benefit of the people in Texas, it's to further clear a pathway for the Donfather to get his way, which in my opinion is not in the best interest of average Americans. We can agree to disagree on this last bit.
Yep, lots of illegals are counted in their census, and the Dems use that for seats.
Word is: Trump is pushing for a new census, without illegals counted. Get ready for the blowback from Dems (and the media).
Like it or not, illegals are people that are living and working here, contributing a significant amount of money in taxes, and are a part of our economic machine. Trump has already said the hard-working good ones can stay, but they don't get counted as people living where they work (and contribute on a multitude of levels?) We abolished slavery a while ago.
I'm sure most would happily accept citizenship if it was made available in a less convoluted way than we have now. I know some very smart folks that had to go through a lot of effort to establish citizenship. They have privilege (brains, money, position to take time to sort it out). Now imagine if you're a hard working, minimally educated person, speaking a second language, trying to navigate this.
I'm not saying I have all the answers, I don't. Trump is panicking because there are a lot of minorities in Texas that don't think too highly of him these days, understandably so.
I'm sure The Donfather will update the Constitution to adjust this and not count them soon. And we will all benefit from his correction, as his goal is to make America great again for all of us.
Texas is fine so far, but there are four major things that I miss or are so completely different than what I was used to for most of my life that I don’t really care for.
- Lack of mountains
- No public lands to speak of
- The rain is absolutely crazy compared to what I am accustomed to.

- The roads absolutely suck. I’m told that it is more weather related than anything else and that sounds like it makes sense but whether freeway or local roads, the heaving or settling of the concrete portions seem to happen overnight and if a small pothole begins on Monday afternoon it looks like a bottomless pit by Wednesday morning!
As far as politics and division, from what I’ve seen (which is nowhere near the entire state of Texas!) there is a lot less ‘activism’ than where I am from when it comes to the major political parties. I’m referring to the number of political signs, political flags, and political stickers on cars. The types of things that the ‘average’ person would do to show their political affiliation. Eastern Washington has FAR more of that going on than the areas I’ve spent any significant time in in Texas.
To be fair, this is about the area that I’ve really spent much time in. Not as much of Oklahoma as the map shows, but the Texas portion is pretty close.
The mountains are further west.
