Politicians are crooked...by nature...it's in their guidebook...I hope I'm not the one telling you this for the first time.  Trump...a man devoid of any moral compass, has become the most powerful man on earth.  To believe that he and his crowd won't mold the country into something that serves themselves is purposely naive.  

At the moment, most of us are going about our lives...oblivious...untouched, unaffected.  That's how every historical upheaval began.  

That's this Monday's rant.  Peace yall.🙃

They were all so focused on making sure Trump didn't return to the top step, that they forgot to really get their ducks in a row. I agree with Plowboy's parallels to Reagan. Much like Reagan's second term, where he was declining and exhibited a compromised self as Alzheimer's started to do its thing, Trump is definitely not what he was the first time around. I think we're seeing an even more unhinged version of Trump this time around, which has some of his faithful caught off guard even. We all knew he was unorthodox, but his filter has been further removed. Listening to a lot of his speeches is quite painful, and many are pretty incoherent rambles with key catch phrases peppered in that people latch onto. He doesn't make a ton of sense when he talks anymore, much like Biden. I think the difference is, Trump claps back and throws fits, which we view as witty and eating people for lunch for some reason. Biden just went mute instead of word vomiting.

Even well respected Republican political strategists aren't convinced Trump will see the end of his second term as they acknowledge he is largely incoherent, unable to complete logical thoughts without constant asides - beyond simple senior moments...Vance is licking his chops.
