They should cut down on the requirement to say the entire name including the title sponsor for everything. It sounds redundant and silly. I get that it's what they pay for, but it seems like a parody sometimes.

I can just see it next year:

"You're watching Round one of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. Part of the Monster Energy Supermotocross League. Monster Energy star Racing Yamaha's Haiden Deegan is debuting in the premier class. How will he stack up against Monster Energy Kawasaki's chase sexton and HRC's Jett Lawrence? Let's go to the Monster Energy pre race interview to hear from Monster Energy star Racing Yamaha's Haiden Deegan. Monster Energy can be purchased now at the Monster Energy store!"

I laughed at this a lot, it’s so true though, i agree with the need of cutting down the use of certain names.

That's exactly what Monster is paying for...

5.11 Tactical and Bass Pro/Cabela's seems like such a good fit! Hopefully we get even more outside sponsors coming on board in years to come.

Or maybe, just maybe, they see Monster stepping up for four more years and other companies/sponsors will see that this sport is solid, growing, has a great demographic for young people buying products and possibly will get involved because of it.
I have backed off on my monster intake myself, but I’ll still buy one here and there. They are a great partner for SX. More monster girls to look at, more demos to watch, more free drinks, more cool vids online and much much more.
Don’t just hate the drink, look at everything they do for the sport.
Now I’d love to see all riders, especially my lower privateer buddies, make more money, but the riders that qualify for the SMX races are definitely making more money than they were before.
End rant.

It's all good that Monster keeps the cash flowing.

The problem here is complacency by the organizers of many forms of motorsports: relying on a unique big sponsor, or sponsors coming from a single industry, is a risk. They don't seek other sponsors, don't bring outside sponsors, don't cultivate their skills to do so nor improve their appeal to outside investors. Then when, for some reason, energy drinks will cut their spending, that will hurt the sport so much, cause no one is thinking of a backup plan, no one is planning for that.

That dependency is a very real risk for the future of the sport, just remember when tobacco and alcohol "magic money" suddenly dried out.

Thanks, that's a bit outside the box for sure, good to expand on the outdoors market and have some crossover with different industries.

If I understand correctly, the venue and main sponsor are kinda the same thing belonging to that one guy? I don't know the place, what is it exactly? "Wilderness resort" makes it sound like some fake artificial stuff.

For the record, there are different caffeine types.

For me:

The caffeine in coffee or tea lasts too long.  Drinking it in the morning can keep me up that night, and can still affect me a bit the following day.

The caffeine in chocolate wires me too much for some reason and messes with my AD[H]D.  I'm not sure I have the 'H' part.

The cheap caffeine (as I call it) in sodas (which I avoid) works for me. It doesn't last as long, doesn't prevent me from shutting down at night, and is out of my system the same day.

White can Monster is great!  The caffeine mix doesn't affect my concentration (AD[H]D).  It actually seems to help.  It's a good mix.  It doesn't prevent me from shutting down at night, and has no effect on me the following day.

On a usual day, I only need 2 oz in the morning.  That's 20mg of caffeine of different types.  A 16 oz can has 160mg total.

I'm stoked that they're sponsoring our sport.

The caffeine in monster or reign energy makes me feel like an insane person.

Red Bull makes me tired. I’m not sure what it is about them.

Coffee and tea make me feel the most normal, just more energized and focused.

They can spray down the tracks with it.  That'll give everyone the super hard pack/blue groove racing that everyone loves so much.

By 2030 that'll be, what, about 25 years as the title sponsor? That's crazy, especially when you consider that the next longest title sponsor was Camel at about 5 years.

Also, to anyone complaining about energy drinks being terrible for you, motorsports have always attracted morally questionable sponsers; alcohol, cigarettes, junk food, p*rn, crypto, and even outright scams. Let's not pretend Monster Energy is somehow uniquely bad.

Im totally speculating but the sport being so absolutely consumed with monster may be holding it back from getting other more “classy” sponsors. I could definitely be way off base. I just don’t like monster. It’s effin stupid and anyone who drinks that toxic piss is a moron.

I was looking at it on Google earth and it looks like its still very new. Looks unfinished on the newest images. as of 9-2025 it looked like this image I'll attach. I think that it is just a rustic/outdoor themed arena with a hotel . Like Bass Pro built an arena and hotel . Maybe when its totally finished it will be more of a complete resort  with more to do than the whatever is going on in the arena .

There are a few places around it  like a golf course and other lodges, trails, caves that You can drive through. A lot of things close to it for being out in the mountains. Looks like they also own a lot of properties in the area but the arena is just an arena and hotel right now. A very cool arena thats built into the side of a hill . I think it will truly capture the feeling of being at a SX and MX race by the looks of the venue.

Looks like plenty of space for a good sized track and elevation change if they get creative.
