I thought there was one more round of AUS MX?

Great for our MXdN prep though!

There is, this coming weekend. US Nationals are still off this coming weekend because of Loretta's.

Guessing they will be on a plane Monday morning after the final Ausmx motos. Stoked for Webster and will be a great opportunity for Kiwi Connelly too

Final AUS MX round is this weekend, the next AMA National is the following weekend at Ironman, the same track this years MXON will be held.

Roger, didn’t realise the nationals had two weekends off.

Is this a bid for the 3rd spot on team Australia for MXdN?

Encouraged by Honda so the whole winning team is on Honda?

Regardless I love the participation

The Aus team has already been announced.

Ironman is an off weekend for MXGP as well, so I wonder if we see anyone else come over for a test run.

Brodie Connelly is from New Zealand, so just the same opportunity as Webster to get familiar with the Ironman track and get some good prep for mxdn. Just works out well that they are both on the same Australian Honda team which has a US based team (Quadlock Honda).

Will be interesting to see what bike Webster is on. He rides 450 in oz but is the 250 rider on the mxdn team. Would make sense for him to ride the 250 at Ironman

I’d say the main reason is for Webster to get a couple of US nationals under his belt including a pre run of Ironman.

This is awesome, great addition to the series, really especially excited to see how Connolly does. Also love the look of those Hondas

I’d be very surprised to see a Nz team at the mxdn

Don't follow the NZ side of things, do they not enter a team? Or just not qualify for the mains?

Would have thought they had enough talent now to have a decent crack

We usually send a team , didn’t qualify for the a main last year

but doubt it will happen due to politics and money this year , and mainly no one stepping up to be team manager this year ,

That's a shame. Connelly, Davies and Crawford? (Didn't he go last year as he's half Kiwi?) don't know any other kiwi riders sorry. Would be a solid team with Townley as TM... Hopefully they can get something together in the next couple of years

Crawford being picked is the one of the  reason for the pollitics , it did not go down well here among riders and supporters ,

It was retro round this past weekend and the Honda team did a phenomenal job.

Not at all feasible for him to jump on a 250 for the first time since MXON last year and race an AMA 3 days later.

Would you slot him in 8-12? I might be way off.

When he did the 450 races he got great starts and top 10 finishes. I believe with a good start he can definitely get top 10 in 250's

No time like the present. Makes the most sense given that he will be riding the 250 on that same track a couple of months later
