Ghislaine Maxwell is probably gonna cut a deal and spill the beans. Why wouldn’t she? She has nothing to lose? She’s already been interviewed by the Deputy AG. More interviews to come; apparently the Clinton’s have been subpoenaed as well (i believe it’s the NYT, so take it with a grain of salt, but it may be true) along with others.

In 2015 she was charged with perjury for lying under oath, the charges were dropped when she was sentenced to 20 years, so there will always be doubts about any of her testimony.
If her testimony only implicates people from one side of politics, and she gets a deal, there will be accusations of a cover up.
If her testimony doesn't implicate anybody new, and she gets a deal, there will be accusations of a cover up.
IMO, the only logical deal that would come of her in talking to who she is talking to, would be for her to spill no more beans. Her story will be that DT was not involved in JE 'activities'.

I don’t know. Since Trump will be the subject of the investigation, I’m not sure he would be able to. Surely the AG’s office would be able to offer a deal. (If they get 2 articulable facts, that would create probable cause to pursue criminal charges?)

I don’t know. The ball is already rolling, hearings are being scheduled, briefs are being prepared, Dems and Reps and sort of unified in getting those files and investigating Trump’s role. Maxwell is scheduled to have a committee hearing around the first week of August. She’s only one witness. Whatever happened is gonna come out.

Anyone, including President Trump, who might be named on a list or implicated by Girhlaine is not guilty of anything until proven in a court of law. Everyone deserves due process. Being guilty of association is not a crime.
I can’t remember all of the reasons posters have said about why Trump hasn’t released the files, but I heard something today that got my attention. Could it be that he hasn’t released them because he would be killed? Like a JFK scenario?

The most plausible ‘deal’ that Bondi and team could/would offer to Maxwell would be for her to try to disassociate Trump from Epstein’s illegal activities. After that sort of testimony, it could be possible that she might receive a commutation/pardon.

This seems highly unlikely. Trump would have to be not only implicated but impeached and convicted in the senate for JD to become President (as President, Trump is not going to be criminally prosecuted). JD doesn't strike me as dumb enough to try this, or smart enough to pull it off. High risk/high reward with a minimal probability of success. Plus, I have a very hard time imagining Maxwell implicating Trump. He's the one guy that can get her out of jail. It would be politically damaging to pardon her, but if he's exiting politics at the end of his term, he might not care. Vance, being young, has a future political career to worry about so pardoning a despised, convicted child sex trafficker likely wouldn't be on his radar.
There are all sorts of wacky scenarios that are possible but what actually happens will probably be rather mundane. Regardless of what the truth is, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Maxwell simply says she recruited girls to give Epstein "massages" and that that's all that happened.
Edit: Is the comment I'm responding to intended as a joke? It's very difficult to tell - people seem to take all sorts of things seriously.
I was actually trying to clarify truck’s post about a potentially new president. I’m not sure that I completely understand what he was saying. Probably more my comprehension issues than his writing! I’ve been inhaling too much carb and brake cleaner this week!
