Townley is a great rider!
But why he pulled that shit is beyond me..........

Perhaps he was pissed that Ken passed him and he got caught up in the moment,with no regards to Short (both are on Honda's & Red Bull sponsored).

But always remember pay back can be a real bitch. Wink

by the way... BT is NOT European...he is a NZ'der (not remotely close to Europe!!)

BT is NOT a dirty rider, he didnt do ANY moves like that during the AMA outdoor season, I would give him the benefit of the doubt and say he misjudged things a little ...it is a huge shame for Shorty but dont fret, Shorty will bounce back and I am willing to bet that BT was man enough to apologise unlike other racers out there.

Rubbin/ slammin in turns is racing....im glad to finally hear somebody maken a aggressive pass, im sick of all the sissy's crying for a rough pass....Riders need to bring that type of riding back!...and if you were racing for ur country wouldn't you make some dirty passes? i know i would be slamming the shit out of foreign country riders.

He was clearly faster, he didn't need to take Short out to beat him.
Could have waited to make a clean pass,but really I think he was caught up in the moment and pissed that Ken passed his Kiwi ass. Smile

ps I've always been a Dungey fan since Lawrence-Grant-Dungey battle at Budds Creek 2007, then when he passed RV2 at Las Vegas SX on last lap in 2008 (I was there!) that sealed it for me. Nice work RD5.

You pass the rider when it happens, go change your tampon, that hit wasn't uncalled for, if you're a road block expect to get moved. Short is known for riding a wide bike, when you see a hole on a rider like short you take it.
