Just like with Dungey a few years ago, I don't care where he finishes. Just cool to see him out there.

I was stoked to see both of them at Budds Creek in '22

He will not do well if he’s riding a KTM street bike.

I got to see Dungey at Washougal. Main reason I went since I knew it'd be the last time I got see him at a National racing.

I don't expect him to beat Prado at Red Bud.  JP has been to Red Bud a few times and rode well there.  He lead a decent amount of the 1st moto of 2018 MXoN on a 250.

But I am really glad TC is getting at least an exhaust and some suspension tuning for the Duc.  I've got him 7-10...  Really damn good for a part time racer at his age.

Last time Prado raced Red Bud he got beat by over a minute in both motos

I’m a huge TC fan.  imo he is the all time MXGP goat.  He won way more races and titles on big bikes than Herlings or Everts, who cherry picked small bike wins for way too long.  He never really had sought the attention like most greats, ….he just raced.  He is as pure of a racer as has ever existed.  Maybe because of that I don’t think he felt the pressure at the level other “greats” have.  He just raced….and won.  I think this is why he never quit riding, unlike most champs that retire.  He loves it and he never let pressure ruin the sport for him. Having said that…..The dude turns 40 in a couple of months.  He will be on a mostly stock bike.  …I’m a realist.  10-15th and stoked to see him ride…What a stud!!

I just watched press day and TC was really popping out of berms and seemed to struggle a bit.  Curious to see if that was just press day or if it’s not quite turning the way he would like.

He hasn’t been on the FC suspension for more than a day, right??

No matter where he finishes, he’s a living legend. Just cool to see him racing over here.

I just hope the production team understands the importance of this and shows him some if he's not riding in the front pack.

Preview to Antonio's shape right now, with his Matterley Basin MXGP results

Time practice :

12th position with a 1.59.514, which was 3.039 seconds off of Herlings. He was in the same second (1.59) than Maxime Renaux, Brian Bogers, Isak Gifting, Alberto Forato, Jeremy Seewer, Andrea Bonacorsi, Jago Geerts, Roan Van De Moosdijk, Adam Sterry and Ben Watson .

Qualifying race :

He is pointed 11th in the first lap and end up in 11th poistion as well. He was in 9th after Geerts and Gifting crashes, but then got passed by Seewer and Pancar. He ends up 51 seconds behind the leader (Herlings) and his fastest lap was a 2.03.570 (Herlings was fastest with a 2.00.618, a 2.952 seconds gap), which put him in the same second than Horgmo, Pancar, Seewer, Forato, Van Doninck and Gifting.

Race 1 :

He starts in 7th position and end up 7th. He is passed by Calvin Vlaanderen and then he passed Isak Gifting. He finishes 53.691 seconds behind the winner (Coldenhoff), and his fastest lap was a 2.02.734 (compare to a 1.59.840 from Coenen, a 2.894 seconds gap), which means his fastest lap was in the same second as Vlaanderen and Gifting.

Race 2

He starts in 8th and finishes 8th (not a single pass in the top 10 during that race), he is 38.346 seconds behind the leader Romain Febvre (smallest gap of the week-end) and his fastest lap is a 2.00.875 compare to Romain's 1.58.871 (+2.004), he was riding in the same second a lap than Vlaanderen, Horgmo, Forato and Pancar.

He end up 7th overall

"Everts, who cherry picked small bike wins for way too long"

BS,  Shred.

Everts did a few years in 125s - but didn't win a 125 GP until 91, the year he won that Championships.

In 92, he went to the 250s - he didn't hang around to tot up more 125 Championships - in a time when the 250s were starting to have as much importance as the 500s - to, gradually surpass them . Though, I'm loathe to say that, as I always followed / revered the 500s, right up until their demise.

Everts picked up some added 250 wins in 02 and 03 (I think?) but that was due to the insane and much hated 1 moto format the FIM tried for a while - which was hardly Stefans fault who just wanted to race 2 motos. I'll always root for Tony but in terms of the absolute MXGP best you have to stick to the actual record/data imo and so give Everts the actual final nod as the ultimate No1 in that series (until/if someone can topple his record).
