In before every vet tells you they can just feel the difference in their Dunlops...
I can only tell the tires if I have the triple clamp pinch bolts at exactly 13.785463 ft/lb. Any more or less throws everything off and I have to loosen my tank and skid plate bolts for more comfortability.
Honest question. Can you not tell a difference in tires? That’s the thing I’m most sensitive to after suspension.
Whether you or I can feel the difference isn't my statement. Go watch any vet practice session at your local track and tell me I'm wrong that 95 percent of the riders out there move at a pace that make it mostly impossible to distinguish the competitive differences between a "sub tier" brand and the top one. The same can be said for beginners and novice classes and also kids bikes. Racing is expensive so it's good to have options for people at reasonable price points.

Why would you single out vets? There are a lot of us who have been riding and racing our entire lives, it would make sense we would notice differences with hundreds if not into the thousands of hours of riding experience. I get it, there are a lot of guys who started riding later in life, but a lot of us who have been at it a long time, and it doesn't take pro speed to notice change of parts, settings etc.

Anyway, enjoy the weekend moto brother.
Yeah I’d venture to say vet class can feel more differences than the 14-20 year old group!

I’m a vet guy and I can tell the difference between a good front tire and a crappy one. You would be able to tell the difference too if you were following me, because you’d see me laying on the ground somewhere…lol

Your statement literally says tell the difference.
Now that the typical cool guy Vital stuff is out of the way we can get into the specifics of the tires. I’d like to hear how they compare to the Tusk EMEX T-35. I’ve been happy with them for the price.
I'm as dumb as a post but even I can tell the difference in tires, roller vs o-ring chain, forks up/down in the clamps, sag...if you can't then I reckon you need more seat time.🙃

Tire on left looks like the old Bridgestone 403.

Glad to see someone's chipped into say they've tried the tire out... I'm genuinely curious about the tires as well.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, I’m ready to hear some real world reviews.
I'm keen to find if there's an Australian importer.

I really liked those 403’s!
Pit Row
Found this place in Brisbane, I will be giving them a miss.

You’re gonna pay $300 for a Protaper front tire???
He said "giving them a miss".
Now I don't speak Aussie, but I think that means a hard no.
