Missing from the 2026 announced line up from Kawasaki was the KX85 and KX112. Will there be an updated model for those two later this year?

Maybe that's the new two-stroke they've been talking about that's now delayed... 😬

I think its the large bore 2-stroke that’s been delayed until next year.  I’d bet a new 85 and 112 come this year.

There will have to be. As you know, there are multiple new two strokes coming down the pipe.

New KX 65 and maybe a 50 would be a good idea too. Revitalize Team Green a little.

Someone else posted about this a day or two ago and my first thought was that we'd see the 85 and 112 disappear before they get any real updates.... Maybe that's what we are seeing. That would be a shame.

No way they’re having the 2002-26 KX65 in this lineup but discontinuing the 85/112. I’d bet there’s an updated lineup debuting at Loretta’s.

Was there any more info on this? Did they stick with the same 85 for 2026?

At the Pro Challenge, word on the street was that Team Green signed Kannon Zabojnik and Shannon Tarnow to ride a brand new 85.

Kannon is 5X Loretta Lynn's champ  and won the FIM Junior World Championship in France this year. He has been Cobra Elite for a while. He surely had his pick of brand to ride for. I was stunned that they chose Green (granted, it wasn't his parents telling me the news, so who knows). The point is that his parents don't mess around and if they signed with Kawi then it must be a fully updated 85.

Little fact about Kannon. His Dad was a BMX amateur phenom. Won many Nationals while on the Factory Haro team. I announced a bunch of BMX Nationals with AJ battling with Powerlite Factory rider Donnie Robinson in some epic battles.

As for the KX85 and 112. I would expect something at the first of the year.

I had heard something about BMX, but didn't know details. That's impressive and explains Kannons motivation. It is so unnatural to watch a kid that small jump everything the 450s are jumping.
