Can DangerBoy go 22-0?

Thats been his style. Like RC.    Many people said the same thing about RC and  while RC had some big ones, he had  won way more often and had 2 perfect seasons with that ragged style. Deeghan  did say he's trying to tone it down and be smoother this year though. And not look so ragged and on the edge as prep for a 450. 

 I think its fine for him to stay in the 250 class. Last season he was great, but not on this level. I imagine they want to be ready to go for wins when he moves up. Why not stay in the 250's and gain some more experience and confidence? His ability to learn and improve is what impresses me most. I wasn't a fan of him before. But I'm slowly starting to become one. His ability to learn , improve  and how determined he is to dominate is impressive. He reminds me of RC.  Jett couldn't seem to care if he wins by 1 second or a minute. RC wanted to beat everybody by as much as possible, and I see that in Deeghan more than  any other current riders. And really other than RC I can't think of another.

 He will need a lot to go his way to avoid the dumb stuff that can happen . But I think he has the mental advantage and has as good of a shot or better, at doing it as anybody else has. It will be fun to see how hard he try's to stay perfect, or if overalls are OK and dropping a moto win isn't the end of the world if things go badly.

 I think that Jett showed he learned from last year when he tried that dumb jump that ruined his season. He took it a little easy and was able to stay healthy and add points. I wonder how much a perfect season means to Haiden VS the overalls and or the title itself. And how much he will risk to stay perfect? From the looks of the class, right now only Haiden will beat himself.

How many 22-0 seasons did Jett have on a 250?

"can" is a big window. So far since he is the only one that has won, he is the only one who can. 

If he starts inside of the top 15 AND it's not a mud race he wins. And no bike failures or crashes. 

We could see his talent but no he didn't have it in him for whatever reason to really dominate. Obviously, the combination of him growing and getting stronger and hopping on a bike with power to spare was like magic for the dude. I'm hoping Haiden adapts in much the same way and we have a real battle the next few years.

in 2022 Jett had a DNF, a big crash at Unadilla, still won 11 motos, 9 overalls against Hunter/Jcoop and Jo and wrapped up the title one round early. If that's not dominating then I don't know..

It's funny people talk like Deegan already went 22-0 lol. We are 2 races in.

Stew went 23-1 while getting horrific starts all summer (except Glen Helen)

22-0 is a stretch but I see 9-10 OA’s out of 11 in his future

I'm not assuming he will and yeah, I forgot about Jett's 2022 season. it's easy to forget that he was really good when all we see now is a guy that is as close to unbeatable as RC was especially outdoors. You have to admit that Haiden looks rock solid at this point and will probably have to beat himself or have a mechanical in much the same way as Jett.

I was there at Red Bud the day James had the problem. He was soooooo frigging dominant on the 125 it was just plain ridiculous.

I've never seen anyone as fast as James.  Anyone who saw him ride in person knows what I'm talking about. 

I was a huge James fan but, outdoors RC kind of owned him. James style made him look even faster than he was. I see Eli in the same light 

There is only one GOAT of any sport. I guess you could say GP and one in USA, but that term is overused way too much. 

To clarify, I was talking about James on a 125.  RC was faster outdoors on the bigger bikes.

Bummer that it had to be a mechanical to make the decision, he had just reeled in Chance from a 5 second gap.

Hymas rode amazing that moto. I wonder how he will be in the second moto? Haiden may have gotten to rest a little while having to save his bike. Hymas was so far outfront , wonder if he used up a lot of energy? Amazing ride either way.

Deagan just ran out of steam. Bummer deal but it happens.

He seems to be taking this loss REALLY hard. I don't like the guy so it's funny to watch him sulk, but I do also respect how fucking fired up he is. He's going to come out swinging next week. I'd like to see more guys get that angry over a 2nd place. 

It's what makes him great. He takes the losses so personally. I wonder if the elevation gets to him a little. He's gone 4-9, 2-1, and 2-2 here. Now looking at those scores, for the most post, you would say I'm dumb amd he's pretty damn good at Thunder Valley. But actually watching the motos, its the one track I can really say someone else has beat him straight up. It says a lot about how amazing he is that a 2-2 is an off day.
