I live in Japan, I’m quite involved in the automotive scene, particularly drifting and street racing. I don’t know anyone at Kawasaki personally, but many of my friends in the Auto industry do, there is quite a lot of overlap. One of my buddies that works at a fender shop out in Fukushima actually dates one of the girls that works the phones at Kawasaki. The other night we were out at this amazing Ramen restaurant out in the mountains near Fukushima city, I overheard him talking to his partner on the phone during our meal. They spoke Japanese so I didn’t catch it all perfectly, but from what I can tell, they didn’t mention the Kawasaki 2 stroke, he was asking if she had fed their cat. We enjoyed the rest of our ramen and took a fun drive through the mountains after.

Hope that clears things up 😊

Now that was hilarious. Well done.

I think at this point Kawasaki is regretting they ever dropped that "we heard you" teaser.  If they ever expected to come out with a 2-stroke, the timing of that was not so good.

125 best 2 stroke. Ask Steve Lamson.

Ktm’s biggest seller is a 300 2stroke off-road bike. That’s the market they are going after from what I was told.
