yes I kno another chase sexton thread , but I’m chillen out listening to the hangtown review & Steve basically said tht KTM is not too happy right now cause they don’t think chase is all tht hurt & also Steve said someone in the kno made a claim to him tht this could turn into coop’s situation back in ‘23 , so wht the hell is really going on 🤔
My guess, KTM wanted Chase to stay. Chase says no way, I'm going green and I already signed. Chase isn't happy with the bike and doesn't want to ride it anymore than he has to. KTM not happy with Chase leaving and complaining about the bike. They eventually decide to split and figure out how to do it. We hear within the next few weeks. Meanwhile, Chase is already getting Kawi ready for 2026 SX.
Just my uneducated guess.
Meanwhile, Prado says this kawi 450 isn't fast enough....
Kawi engine team better get busy
this whole situation is just fucking crazy , I still think he got a concussion but if more ppl with thin the walls are noticing something off with this , then there’s smoke to the fire , this a bad look for chase in my opinion
Look at the downvotes I got when I said this a few days ago..

After seeing Prado struggle on the Kawi I'm very curious to see if the bike fits Chase. Kinda doubt it.
If Sexton splits for Kawi early (ala Webb to Star), there is zero chance of him riding MXdN at Ironman.
Saw that as well..... I found it VERY interesting.
You sound butt hurt? It’s probably because of the source.
We all know I'm a Chase fanboy but damn if he doesn't make it hard. He just seems like he's gonna have an issue with every bike. The KTM looked amazing at the end of sx. It looks pretty damn good for AP outdoors, too. Just ride the damn bike.
What I find odd is Prado going green and obviously pre testing the bike like they all do and yet after all this time it's still down on power?
I wish Prado and Chase the best with Team Green
objectively u might be right 😂 I still think hes goona come back but if all this is tru of wht Steve been told then chase is acting like a disgruntled employee who just put in his 2 weeks & said fuck it , I’ll show up when I show up untill my 2 weeks is done , thts fucking crazy
I agree with you man. Chase is an all American stud of a motocross racer, maybe his mental game can be a struggle but Eli has a little bit of that sometimes also in the past with weirdo results.
I hope his shoulder and head are ok and bottom line is he is under contract and should race, period as long as he is healthy. F complaining about the bike settings, all of them, figure it out! Racers race! Next year is a new year whatever brand he chooses. Right now in the moment he can be an easy top 5 outdoors every time for fun.
Chase is a racer. He'll be back soon.

💯👍🏻
honestly I gotta keep it consistent with my takes cause the same thing I say in the NFL when the players wana sit out during training camp & reg season games just cause no extension deal been made when I’m like bruh u have 1 or 2 more yrs left on ur current contract , get yo ass out there on the field & play out the contract then come back to the negotiation table , same thing with chase , still under contract for 2025 outdoors under KTM , tf is we doing & even with the PR saying he’s bang up , like everybody is banged up & still racing 🤷🏾♂️ unless he got the concussion which according to chase ig post & the PR , there is no concussion…
hindsight ,even tho I thought tht was crazy talk from JT , he lokey been the 1st person to signal out tht some BS was about to happen
Not at all butthurt, just gloating that ‘I told you so..’
Pit Row
Yeah I don't buy the take from the review show that Chase just doesn't want to race. What would've happened if he didn't crash?
Playing it safe for a few weeks after an impact to the head would make much more sense to me. Maybe there was no concussion diagnosis to include in the PR.
I had the same thought and started figuring that he just got more comfortable and realized he was down on power once he got situated.
As for Chase, I have a feeling every bike is going to have an issue for him. I like the guy, he’s just been kind of a headcase.
No one wants to ride for a bike company you might not be able to get parts for.
Don't let it go to your head its no different that the Kooksey clock being right every now and then....but I do think you could be right though...
Ive said it before, Chase is a stand up guy.
At least he is honest. If the bikes not feeling good or he thinks improvement can be made, he should be able to say this publicly.
They all do. Deegan did this weekend, Jett did also.
AP mentioned it a couple years ago when KTM added a power band in his bike.
It seems all riders complain about something. If one doesnt win, they are sick. If you win but don't lap second place, they're been sick.
A lot of that is mind warfare to put a little fear into your competitors.
Disclosure- if I have typos its because I am sick today, for real
lol @ all the people that down voted the shit out of my sexton replies in the "sexton ok" thread. Its pretty easy to read between the lines on things but some of you nerds need Sexton to come out and say "Yeah i quit because i hate the bike" When its not going to happen. Flame on
AP7 made that Orange Pig look good good at Pala, and really good moto 1 of Hangtown. The Lawrence’s made that piece of junk Honda look okay the year after chase left Honda. And Chase made his Orange Pig look like the best bike in supercross at about every round this year.
I’m left wondering what exactly Chase is searching for.
He is searching for the mental fortitude to beat a Healthy Jett and Eli. Its the same story for most of Sextons career. Hates the bike when his competition is there and when they fall off with injury and hes the fastest left, loves the bike.
No one including chase is thinking he will have trouble getting parts. Chase is a great rider but always has to look for excuses, he hated Honda, hates ktm, and unless he does something to sort his head out he will hate whatever comes next.
Yes, but a bit of context here. In the interview where this is from the discussion between Lewis and Prado touched on how Prado likes a lot of power on his bikes, especially to help with starts, but also with his general riding style. Lewis reminded him Herlings had said he'd die if he rode Prado's bike because of the extra power. So, it doesn't mean the Kawi is not fast enough, it's just not powerful enough for Prado.
Agreed. Chase's problems are all psychological. The Hangtown preview pod with JT and BT have an excellent discussion of this.
But didn't he say the day before in a weege interview I think it was when talking about the bike, he said the engine is good was just doing suspension testing after first round. But now its slow?
Post a reply to: ok so what’s really going on ?
