Hopefully Mani isn't the only one allowed to pre ride the entire course like last year.

I think Walker is going to have a hard time keeping coolant in the bike. 

Agree. I believe they are going to try and run a dual fan set up.

I agree. But didn’t Jarvis finish on a Sherco 450 a while back? It’ll be impressive if Walker can make it to the finish. 

If you have a good fan on the bike it will be no problem with a 4 stroke. But i dont think he will like it in places like cars dinner and the morectechnical places

Jarvis got 2nd at erzberg on a Sherco 300 ( I'm pretty sure it was 'little' 4t, not the 450 )  4t in 2009, Andre Lettebichler, was 3rd on a BMW GS450x that year, too. Large Lette, got 2nd on the GS 450X in 2008

Jarvis won the Romaniacs on a Sherco 300 4t in 2008 - 2nd in 2010 on another Sherco. 

Of course, he got a further 6(?) wins and a few 2nds and 3rds on other bikes, after that.

'Large Lette' won Romaniacs on a BMW GS450X in 2009. 

4  strokes can do well in Extreme Enduro, with the right rider on them. It's The Rider that's important.

Though, a 300 2 stroke, seems to be the as near  perfect format, for such events.

As a side note, Bloody Hell there's a Lot on this weekend! : Erzberg, MXGP, US Nationals, World Cup DH, Manjimup 1500, and, the Greatest Motorcycle race On Earth, the Isle Of Man TT! For me, everything takes a place Behind the IOMTT. The coverage on TT Plus, is fantastic, and, quite affordable. 

I've got several screens set up in the workshop, and will be going cross eyed, and flattened arsed watching as much as these various event as possible over the next few days. 

I've  stocked up on 'beverages' and munchies, for the Ordeal to come. Should be Good!

Cannot see how it is possible to go any faster than this 😮😮, around 6:56 flat out, if Johnny was 81 expect them all to be around that but still pulling tear offs at speed, insane.

Hope for 1. Billy 2. Johnny 3. Manni (even with the rumours of riding the course beforehand)

I can't recall the numbers ( as in : Speeds involved ) , but the era when the Twins were used by BMW and KTM in the prolog were somewhat frightening!

PS : I'm not surprised by Carson's placing in the Prolog - he's certainly a Pinner. You never know, he might turn out to be a bit of a Mountain Goat, too. 

The Erzberg prologue is where the fastest enduro, motocross, and rally riders usually are at the top.

The following stages will make the difference!

Where was Josep Garcia in the main event?

Some of the fast guys like Garcia and Daniel Sanders were only there to run the prologue and not do the main race.
