The top guys are all training hard. Everyone’s body chemistry is different. You can have to athletes training together doing the exact same workout and one will always excel over the other one. It doesn’t mean the one that is better is cheating. Deegan obviously found what works for him.

Thank you. I'm genetically gifted as far as putting muscle on. I've done bb training since I was 18. Take your average lifter and we do identical workouts and identical diets and he wont get the results I do. Shoot, I can eat less protein and not work out as hard as the average guy and I'll still have more muscle than him. Just the genetics I'm born with. This couldn't possibly be the case with Haiden? He must be cheating?

Deegan is cheating because he’s strong throughout the motos? Jo stayed relatively close to him, so he must be cheating too. Chase last year never broke a sweat when charging through the pack, add him to the list. Eli looked like he got off the spin bike after 5 mins, and not off the track after 30+2, has to be PED’s at 32 years old.

I think the biggest issue is that deegan is much more efficient with his energy than the others. I have tons more “fitness” than some guys I know but they can just ride longer because they have more efficient technique. The answer is not always “drugs”😐

This is often overlooked…. I was the other side of the coin. I didn’t work as hard as my training buddies, but could always outlast them. I was simply more efficient on the bike and could go deeper in the moto with less effort.
We really need some Eli news to get this back on track…

Back on original topic...to my way of thinking anyway, since Star is basically saying keeping Tomac is an affordability issue with Webb & Deegan on line, they ought to offer Eli a contract with a cut in salary but with big win bonuses. That would keep Tomac on a bike he looks to have totally bonded with, and have a tremendous marketing platform with Tomac, Webb, J. Coop, Deegan & Davies on the blue bikes.

I know it sounds a little "out there". Especially after Webb just won the SX Title. But again, the Top 2 contenders were out injured. I mean no disrespect to Webb, he's a fighter. But jeez the guy can't ride outdoors for whatever reason on a 450. I hope that changes for him this summer.
Web has said he does not care about outdoors as you make way more money in SX. He will finish 6th in point but his main goal is not getting hurt.

Webb cant ride a 450 outdoors? Him easily being a top ten rider on an international level is legend. He is a stud. Just because he is not banging bars with Chase or Eli last week doesnt mean he should just never ride again. The guy is a machine on 2 wheels, a great dad and a great husband.

I hope if/when you have children that you are a little bit more forgiving.
