It is uncanny. He has done this more than once now. Generational talent and we are lucky to witness this dude

Jett seems bored. Didn't expect him to win that easy on the first ride back.
I don’t know the man, but if I were to guess, the last couple seasons have been pretty emotionally up and down. Getting booed. Stepping away from interviews. Management embezzling your money. Drama and having to publicly humble yourself. I got a sense of malaise from him on the podium. It’s a bummer because I think he’s got a unique spirit and I like when he’s just Jett.
I think he pulled back some because of the heat. It's like he can't do anything without extreme scrutiny. Maybe we'll see him loosen up as the season goes on.
Well, he is the best rider to ever swing a leg over a bike in modern times yet people continue to grasp at straws to discredit his abilities in here…

The kid is special. The stats alone sound fake. Hes won every race hes ever raced at pala and lead every lap. Hes won every 450mx race hes ever raced except the one where they changed the track and he crashed. Were seriously watching the most complete mx/sx rider weve ever seen. Some ppl were doubting him coming into this race, but theres nothing up to this point that has ever shown hes beatable yet. Until proven otherwise hes the guy.
He is thee elite as of right now, for sure. That said with the exception of Sexton and a healthy Tomac it’s a weak field. The fact that Tomac with all the years of wear and tear can still hang says a lot about the competition as a whole. Hopefully one of the young guns coming up can make him work.
21 years old and already sandbagging the 450 class
No for real, with 3 weeks on the bike and coming off an ACL, I know it's Jett Lawrence but that is one hell of a performance.
Insane race and so glad to have Tomac back at outdoors aswell!!
What world are you living in? He tried to get him and got pulled by over 12 seconds. Both were in their first race coming back from injury.
Hats off to Tomac. All respect due but he went for it and couldn’t get him.
Deegan ain't going to be the savior you think.
He goes as fast as he needs to. He had something like 30sec on Hunter. If Eli didnt push him he would be fine just being up 10sec on the rest of the field. His composure is incredible
Now its a weak field? Everyone was going nuts how great this srason was going to be. "Its stacked!" Just admit Jett is that good. He's only 21 too. It's not like hes even peaked yet
You can say whatever you want…… the top 10 guys are all old with years of wear and tear. Yes …I’m saying it’s a weak field.
You brought up Deegan , not me. But since you did, you have no idea one way or the another.
Nearly every media outlet and every narrative is that this is one of the most stacked outdoor fields of all time. You’re an idiot, objectively of course.
Its a weak field? Literally every single person who knows anything about anything is saying this is the deepest field ever. People who have said its the deepest field theyve seen Ricky Carmichael, Ryan Villopoto, James Stewart…. What are you smoking I want some?
You must not have thoroughly read my comment. The part where I said Jett is elite. Also the media for obvious reasons is going put their spin on the field and it’s depth. The truth is …. The majority of the top half of the field are old and far from their prime.

Still think he was bored?
Pit Row
This poor fool claiming that it's a weak field.
Takes all kinds.
Or could Jett be so good that he made the strongest field in AMA history look weak?..
In 2023 we all had to hear that he just beat Chase and never had to race Eli.
Today he beat Eli with 15 seconds in the first moto and then broke ”beast mode” Eli in the second moto and gapped him with 12 seconds in the last laps. Meanwhile making the rest of the field looking like amateurs including the current two time MXGP champ…
Yeah, the field is weak…
🤦♂️
BTW, it's spelled, Bania.
I predicted a 1-1 and a bunch of losers downvoted me.
😘 😘
Jett is phenomenal and you just don’t lose that speed. He’ll make this season boring.
Eli kept him honest until about two laps to go when he knew Jett had him and backed it down. Going to be a good summer!
I just downvoted you because you’re whining about downvotes.
Don’t be so quick to count out Tomac.
Look at the top 10 race results, then come back and HONESTLY tell me that’s a deep field. It isn’t…..
Look at the top 10 results …… That’s far from an elite field.
Who’s missing from the races that would fix the supposed missing depth?
Roczen, Ferrandis, and Barcia.
Jett is a 250 SX/mx and 450 sx/mx/smx champ.
Eli is a 250/450 sx/mx champ
Anderson is a 250/450 sx champ
Webb is a 250 sx/mx 450sx champ
Prado is a 250/450 MXGP champ
Mookie is a 250 sx champ
RJ is a 250 sx champ
And the list goes on. So yeah, super weak.
