I learned not too long ago that there’s a very fringe group of Bobby Bonds fans online that still get viscous over this and swear that GL ruined the career of one of the next all timers.
Between Drew and Marchbanks, Mitch definitely has his work cut out trying to coax as much power out of those KX250s as he can get.

I thought he would’ve been better than what he was in the sx races he did race. I thought he’d be up there more like Davies and JuJu. Hopefully he doesn’t end up like a Tyler Bowers.

His first professional race in Supercross ended with an 8th!! Exactly how much higher did you expect him to finish?!? I personally thought that was damn good!!
He didn't win the title but Davies looked like the best 250 sx rider in the world at times. You're disappointed he wasnt on Davies level? Juju is 2yrs older than Drew. I wouldnt be surprised if Drew beats him this summer
Mitch signing a 16 year old, yaa I thought he would be on that level. Most guys that Mitch signs really young like that win right away and aren’t getting 8th.

An 8th and 10th at Denver and Salt Lake is pretty solid.
AC, RV, Forkner, Stroupe. They all won races and got podiums their first year and were 16 or 17 when they did. I had Drew up their with the elite guys, my bad.
Drew’s got plenty of time. He wasn’t even supposed to turn pro until 2026. So far, he’s only raced one outdoor and three Supercross mains and that Glendale crash was a lot more serious than most people know. It’s easy to look back and think guys like Adam came out winning right away, but his first win didn’t come until his 9th race. Same with RV he got his first win in race 10. Forkner took 12, and Stroupe won in his 9th. Don’t count Drew out he’ll get there.
He did one race, got hurt, and got to line up two more times before the season ended. So 3 whole races. Im not saying hes a lock to be amazing but calling him a disappointment after 3 races that incuded an injury is wild
Drew went form being tiny to being massive also. I was shocked when I saw him at Denver. I know weight isn't as much of a factor in 250s nowadays but he's gotta be at least 180-190lbs.
